I love paintings. Especially ones with gobs of paint like van Gogh's. And my little one year old loves to color with markers on the whiteboard, so I'm sure he'll have plenty of creations for us in the future.

My favorite artist is my mother-in-law who paints with acrylics and paints landscapes and also does some abstracts. We have paintingsin our house for free and some look like art I've seen used in a Pottery Barn catalog.

I don't really have a favorite type of art, but I love drawing and being creative with art supplies! I cannot pass up a good deal on art supplies around back-to-school time and often stock up!
