by Tara Kuczykowski on April 10, 2010 · 179 comments

This week's Saturday Sweeps is brought to you by Lifetime's Army Wives.

Army Wives follows the struggles, dreams and friendships of a diverse group of women – and one man – living with their spouses and families on an active army post. The series films in Charleston, South Carolina and stars Kim Delaney, Sally Pressman, Brigid Brannagh, Brian McNamara, Sterling K. Brown, Wendy Davis, Drew Fuller, Terry Serpico, Katelyn Pippy and Catherine Bell.

The brand new season of Army Wives starts Sunday, April 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. To kick off Season 4, Lifetime is giving away a $100 gift card to retailers of their choice to one lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader!

To enter, watch the Season 4 trailer and leave a comment telling me if you'll be following along or not to find out the outcome of last season's cliffhanging gunshot.

I'm SO excited for the new season - I've been counting down to it for weeks! My husband is deployed so sometimes it can be difficult to watch, but usually my addiction kicks in and I can't tear myself away!! :)

2 Michele April 10, 2010 at 1:56 pm

Sounds like everyone enjoys the show, so I'll have to set my DVR for it now.

3 Britney April 10, 2010 at 2:02 pm

I will not be following. This series, in no way, depicts what actually happens in the life of an Army Wife.

4 Sarah April 10, 2010 at 2:02 pm

I haven't watched the show before, but looks interesting. Maybe I'll check it out!

5 Sara April 10, 2010 at 2:07 pm

I really enjoy this show....even though it may not depict an army wife's life exactly, I think it gives a new perspective to those of us who have never experienced it. Unfortunately, I do think the gunshot had to do with Jeremy!

6 DarcyO April 10, 2010 at 2:07 pm

I haven't watched the show before but it sure sounds good and I love Catherine Bell. I'll have to record it on Sunday.

7 kristie April 10, 2010 at 2:28 pm

I have never seen the show and will not be watching it. I did watch the trailer though and it does look kind of interesting, I always get suck in by cliffhangers!

8 Nicola April 10, 2010 at 2:28 pm

I just love this show and will definitely be watching!

10 Pamela C. April 10, 2010 at 2:33 pm

I will be watching...or at least have the dvr set. Although it is not true to how life in the military (any branch of service) is, there are some aspects that are the same. The best aspect is the friendship one. We still have friends all over the US from our military years. Thanks to facebook, I have been able to get back in touch with some of them.

14 Kelly W. April 10, 2010 at 2:53 pm

I have my DVR set already! I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SHOW! I found it by accident last year while on my maternity leave! I liked it so much that I rented all seasons from Netflix! :0) I can not wait to watch it ... I will watch Monday morning after hubby and kids are at school! Can't wait!

15 Tia April 10, 2010 at 2:57 pm

I will definitely be watching. I finally rented season 1 from Netflix since I did not start watching until season 2. The trailer makes it look like their is more relationship turmoil which keeps me on the edge of my seat! I can't wait!

16 danielle April 10, 2010 at 2:57 pm

Yes I am following the series and have been since the beginning. I and waiting to see what the result was for the final scene with jeremy, I do not think they will kill him off that would have it ending like another season did and I don;t think it will happen that way.

17 Mrs. K April 10, 2010 at 3:07 pm

I will be following. I love ARMY WIVES and have watched all the seasons. My husband even watches with me. Cant wait tomorrow night..,Thanks!

18 lisa mannon April 10, 2010 at 3:15 pm

I will be watching.......

19 Darlene April 10, 2010 at 3:18 pm

My husband and I have been following the show since it's beginning. We are prior military and have an active duty son who has been to Iraq twice. While some of it may not be accurate - some of it is and the show has good story lines. Military life is far from easy - especially deployment times. Thank God for each and everyone vet and active duty person who has served!

20 Charity Shapiro April 10, 2010 at 3:21 pm

I totally forgot that it was starting again. Thanks for the reminder. I love this show and would love to win!

I love this show. I will for sure be watching along!

25 Kelsey April 10, 2010 at 4:24 pm

I watched the show when it first started but didn't really have a chance to get into it last season. I will probably watch tomorrow night though since it is a new season. I am a USMC wife and like others have said, it isn't necessarily what military life is like but I do enjoy the story lines and just remember that is a tv show and not real life!

26 lisa piq April 10, 2010 at 4:27 pm

I will definitely be watching - I cannot wait for this season to start. Love this show and the friendships that are being shared.

34 Mrs K April 10, 2010 at 5:31 pm

When I miss tv episodes, I go to the station website and sometimes they have it available in Streaming Video.

43 Rebecca April 10, 2010 at 6:22 pm

One of my favorite shows. I have season 1 & 2 on dvd! I can't wait to found out what happens!

44 AMy L April 10, 2010 at 6:26 pm

I haven't watched Army Wives, but it looks like the kind of show I'd like. There's just too much I already watch on TV, for me to add another series. Maybe I'll catch the reruns sometime.

45 Jennifer I. April 10, 2010 at 6:27 pm

I think I'll probably do as usual and set the show up for my DVR and save it for nights when the hubby is watching sports

46 Melanie April 10, 2010 at 6:29 pm

I'll definitely be watching! Can't wait!

47 Lisa April 10, 2010 at 6:37 pm

I've never seen the show before, and I probably will not be watching the new season of it either.

48 Sharon Ram April 10, 2010 at 6:47 pm

I've seen the promos for it before but never watched an episode! Wow, didn't realize it was on Season 4 already - thanks for the trailer. Maybe I'll give it a try; appreciate the heads up.

49 Stephanie April 10, 2010 at 6:47 pm

I love Army Wives. I've been on pins and needles about the gunshot. Denise has gone through so much with both her boys, I can't imagine what this would do to her (if it's what I think actually happened). I'm also interested in seeing was happens to Pamela. If she and Chase divorce, she wouldn't exactly be an Army Wife anymore, so would she be leaving the show?

50 MichelleM April 10, 2010 at 7:14 pm

I'll tune in tomorrow!
