Yes, you should be able to use them all in a single transaction as long as the purchase subtotal (before tax) is greater than the coupon total.

Congrats on your first free item...I'm sure there will be many more to come :-).

Hello, I am a beginner couponer and I'm currently trying to learn the tricks at Rite Aid. I have a reciept that has multiple +Up coupons on it, and if I understand the policy correctly I should be able to use all of them in a single transaction as long as the purchase total is greater than the coupon total right? I appreciate any help I can get on this ;) oh and I'm pretty proud of myself to have gotten my first free item from Rite Aid! Lovin learning this couponing stuff!

Usually when it's an offer like the P&G offer this week where you need to purchase a $ value to get the +UP Reward, Rite Aid will track the total and you can purchase in multiple transactions.

If it's get $x +UP Reward wyb 2 of something (etc.), you usually need to purchase those in the same transaction.

Can you purchase the needed items for a reward in more than one transaction or not? (ie this week is the P&G $10 +UP when you buy $30 in specific products...does this all need to be on one receipt or just both on same wellness card?)

I have several uprewards tickets that have expired the the store will not take. I don't understand this. CVS wil take expired tickets if they are not over 30 days. I try to use them when they were a few day old and the clerk would not take them. I have stop going to Riteaid because of this. Your coupon expired way to fast. Atleast CVS gives you almost 30 days. Do you think your policy will ever change? I can't always get to Riteaid within two weeks to use my coupons.

It tracks the +UP Rewards limits via your Wellness card, so even if you do future transactions you won't get the +UP Reward once you've hit the limit.

I was wondering about the UP rewards limits. Right now they have the deal where you buy 1 Oral B toothbrush or 1 Crest toothpaste and get $2 UP reward. In the ad it states a limit of 2 offers per household. If I go back and do the transaction again, will it give me the reward again or does it keep track via your Wellness Card and prevent future rewards for the same deal?

I agree Heather...my cashier really didn't know how the program worked. They do need more training.

I've become a fan of Rite Aid, yes they're prices are a little higher than most but with the printed coupons and +up rewards, it's a winner.

Yes, you can use +UP Rewards with the $3/$15 coupon. However, I don't believe that you can use the +UP Rewards towards alcohol. You can read the restrictions on the bottom of the +UP Reward.

Hi,
I love Rite Aid and the fact that they give me $3 towards my next purchase of $15 every time I visit. ;)
I am glad to hear that +UP rewards can be used toward ANY transaction. I was confused about that.
Questions: Can you use +UP rewards WITH $3 off of $15? Can you use +UP rewards towards alcohol?
Thanks!,
Liz

Great deal on the Luvs!

Unfortunately, Rite Aid has not modified their coupon policy since they introduced the +UP Reward program (and I've heard they are not planning on doing it soon).

When I called customer service (800-RITE-AID) a couple of weeks ago, they said that you can use multiple +UP Rewards per transaction, but ultimately it's up to the store. I personally have not had issues with using multiple +UPR in a transaction, but I have heard many stories similar to yours.

I got the $6 up rewards on the Luvs diapers and used it on a second box right after w/ no problem, which gave me another $6 up rewards and 2 $1 for other items. I was thrilled combined with the $2 instant savings on ea. box, 1 SCR for $2 on luvs and 2 luvs coupons for $2.50 the cost was 12.98 for two boxes of luvs.
The problem was when I went back and was going to pay a purchase for lamisil with the 3 up rewards ($7 total rewards) the cashier said only one up reward coupon was allowed per purchase. So...does anyone know the policy on this? I didn't have grounds to argue cause I haven't been able to find any written policy on this at their website...

Didn't work. I bought a pack of Duracell in one transaction and another in a different store. The deal was to buy 2 Duracell and get a $2 UP but I did not. Oh well.

Diane,

I have not tried to separate transaction for the +UP Reward yet, and I have not read reports of anyone trying it since the +UPR went nationwide, so I'm not sure of the answer. However, when the program was just in the test areas, you were able to get the +UPR even if you purchased the item in separate transactions.

If you can find a cashier who is willing to work with you, try to purchase separately and see if they print after the second one is purchased. If they don't, do a return and purchase together for the +UPR. Let us know how it works!

If an UP reward requires buying 2 items, can they be purchased in 2 separate transactions and receive it when you buy the 2nd item? Like the ECBs do at CVS?

Actually, I called customer service yesterday, and the customer service agent stated you can use more than 1 +UP Reward per transaction as long as the total is not negative (excluding tax). I think that since the program is new, they are still in the process of ironing out the wrinkles and training everyone at the store level.
