I went to my Fav Rite aid this morning . I had 2 BOGO free Olay body wash but was told I could no longer use two BOGO when I buy 2 same items . Manager showed me the CP and it does say they no longer allow that what a bummer

Rite Aid has changed their policy about BOGO copupons and offer combinations, http://content.riteaid.com/stores/CustomerCouponAcceptancePolicyAugust2010.pdf they will no longer let you use a BOGO coupon on an in store BOGO sell item. This changed earlier this year about May I believe.

I HAD A PROBLEM AT THE RITE AID I WENT TO TODAY TOO. THEY HAD A ITEM THAT WAS BOGO AND I HAD A BOGO COUPON AND WOULDNT GIVE THE ITEMS TO ME FOR FREE... AND DOES ANYONE KNOW IF WHEN THEY HAVE A BUY I GET I 50% OFF, DO U HAVE TO BUY BOTH ITEMS TO GET THE DEAL OR CAN U BUY ONE FOR HALF OFF?

Does anyone know if Rite Aid will double the manufacturers coupons like most big grocery chain stores like Meijer's or Kroger does (usually they will only double the face value of the coupon up to 1.00) ?? Thank you!

Dear Frustrated,
If Rite Aid went out of business because of coupons, then they should have looked ahead and changed their coupon policy and stopped the Wellness card and Video Values shtick they got going on. We are not doing anything wrong and store employees need to realize it. Corporate creates the policies, programs and rules. Store managers and employees need to learn to follow corporate policy and it is pathetic when a customer has to tell the manager what the policies are.

and this is why rite aid is trading at less than a dollar a share, and cvs and walgreens are at 25.00 a share. you will be happy when they finally have to close their doors.

One manufacturer coupon per item. So, your best bet would be to use the two $2.50/1 and one of the $4/2 coupons if you're buying 4 packs. Rite Aid coupons (from watching the videos or from the weekly flyer) sometimes say "manufacturer" on them but RA is still supposed to take them in addition to the actual manufacturer coupons. There was a really good writeup on one of the blogs about how to tell the difference. I'll see if I can find it. Also, don't forget to use a $5/25 coupon with that transaction, and submit it for the $2 rebate.

I am pretty new to this Rite Aid rebate/coupon business, so I have a scenario that I want to try, but don't know if it will work? I want to purchase 4 packs of huggies jumbo pack diapers. I have several manufacturer coupons..(2) $4.00 off purchase of 2 packs, (2) $3.50 off purchase of 2 packs, (3) $1.00 off a pack, (2) $2.50 off a pack. My question is this: I read in the coupon policy that RA only accepts one manufacturer coupon per transaction... does it mean one PERIOD, or just one of the same kind? Thanks!!!

I had a bad exp. at Rite Aid in Oxford, AL yesterday. The manager told me I couldn't use two "like" internet printables. She actually threatened me with jail for using fraudulent coupons. I explained to her that manufactuers, allow you to print two coupons per computer, so they are not fraud. If that is RA's policy, not to accept them... that is one thing, but to threaten jail time.... I think I will let corp know about this one...

I don't know if anyone has posted this or not but starting august 1st rite aid will be putting limits on the up rewards much like they do the rebates. Good info for those who roll their rewards over to the next purchase.

I had a horrible experience today when I tried to use the +Up rewards and the video value in addition to another coupon. I ended up spending more money and arguing with the cashier, so next time I'll definately bring the printed coupon policy because it's not really worth the headache.

My understanding is that +UP rewards are treated like gift cards. They don't apply to a particular item, but to your total after all coupons are deducted.

First, thank you for posting the coupon policy, I wish they made it accessable on their website. Second, I am trying to understand how the +Up rewards will factor into the coupon policy. I recieved multiple +Up Rewards at the bottom of my receipt during my last shopping trip to Rite Aid. In fine print it states "Good thru 8/07/10 on 1 purchase only of at least $1 of eligible product excluding sales tax...." Each Reward I recieved says the same thing with only the dollar amount of the eligible product varying. So could I use 1 manufacturer coupon, 1 Rite Aid coupon & 1 +Up Reward for a single item? And can I use multiple +Up Rewards within the same transaction?

I had a terrible experience at our Rite Aid yesterday. I had a whole deal going and ended up walking out with nothing. Here is an example of the problem I had:
Buying- (1)Zegrid 14 count
used - (1) video value coupon
-(1) in-ad coupon
- (1) manufacturer's coupon
They would not let me use the video value coupon OR the in-ad coupon because the BOTH say "manufacturer's coupon" on them. I called corporate today and they said that when it says "manufacturer coupon" on the video value and rite aid coupon, that means it is an actual Rite Aid Manufacterer's coupon, NOT a Zegrid manufacturer's coupon. Sooooo confusing! They are supposedly calling the store for me, but I am really frustrated with Rite Aid right now. Their policy is STILL not clear enough for the store OR consumer to get right!

AmAnda, I had the same type of problem last week with the Coppertone. I called Customer Support and had WONDERFUL clarification from Kathleen. All 3 ARE acceptable. She called the store and spoke to the sales associate on my behalf clarifying coporate's policy. That way I was able to go back and purchase the items without a hassle. Now I have the toll free number in my phone and a mental note of when customer support is not in(just Sundays) so that I can avoid these hassles. Down note... the cashier was upset(tears) that the matter was going to be referred to corporate...Rite Aid is working on an updated policy...obviously the sooner the better. I was made to feel soooo bad that I was almost 'afraid' to go back to Rite Aid ever again! I don't think that corporate realizes how many are "suffering in silence" and just staying away! 1-800-RITEAID to the resucue!

Today well I was at check out at Rite Store In FOrd City ,PA I purchased the Garnier nutritioniste that had a in ad coupon for $5.00 off also i had a Video value coupon and a manufactor coupon that i cut out of the sunday paper anyways when i handed her the coupons she told me i couldnt use all three of them I had to choose between the 2.00 off video value or the 5.00 off in ad coupons considering there both Rite coupons...Could you please let me know if I was wrong about using all three or was she....Also If i contact the Corp.office would they send me a policy so i have it instead of printing one off? Can anyone confirm that this is really Rite Aid's corporate policy? The managers at my Rite Aids don't know anything about it, and I can't seem to get corporate or the district manager to send me their corporate policy. I did a search for "coupons" at Rite Aid.com, and I found no corporate policy there.

I had a problem with my Rite Aid. They wouldn't accept $16.50 worth of coupons that should have all been accepted according to the policy. It totally messed up my shopping trip and budget.. :(
I came here and found Rite Aid's corporate coupon policy, and printed it out. I highlighted the sections that showed they should have accepted my specific coupons, and brought it back in, and showed it to the manager. (He was the one that had rung me up and said they couldn't accept those coupons)
He was nice and said that in the future they'd go by that policy.. Unfortunately he couldn't correct the error, and I'm out $16.50 more than I should be.
One of the things they'd had a problem with was the $5 of $20 Video Value coupon. They had told me that it had to be $20 AFTER all other coupons were deducted.
They'd also incorrectly told me that Rite Aid coupons that were printed at home were considered internet coupons. (According to corp. policy, hey aren't)
They also did not want to let me use an identical manufacturer's coupon on an additional identical item. Interpreting one coupon per purchase to mean per transaction not per item purchased that the coupon was for.
Very Frustrating, and financially painful.
I now have the corporate policy in my coupon binder, so they can't pull this again.
