My Rite-Aid accepted the $5 off $25 along with the 20% off everything coupon I received via email. What a great deal day for me!!!
Dizzy Mommy
My newspaper (The Detroit News and Free Press) came with a 10% purchase coupon on the front of the paper.
Alison
On the Rite-Aid website it states that the $10 Zyrtec rebate when you buy $50 worth is before tax, after coupons. So I don’t think you’ll be able to get the $10 since you’ll only be paying $35.00
Raquel
Has anyone had problems using internet coupons at Rite Aid. I l ive in Cleveland and almost all of the Rite Aids refuse to take them. I was just wondering if any one else is having trouble with this.
Tara Kuczykowski
Alison, it does say that, but I believe it has been working for others on the after coupon price. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong – unfortunately we don’t have a Rite Aid close to us.
Raquel, Rite Aid’s most current coupon policy states that they will accept one Internet coupons per transaction. Most stores will accept more than one, but they have to accept at least one. This is a pretty recent change, so you may want to call Rite Aid customer service so they can follow up with your store(s).

The Zyrtec is a great deal with or without the $10. I just submitted my receipts so I cannot say for sure if the $10 Zyrtec program works on 3 this week, but I need to comment on the scenarios I have seen. I have read a few that involve buying all 3 in one transaction. I am wondering if that is really necessary?? I split mine up so I could use more than one $5/$25 RA coupon and more than one $5 RA in ad coupon. Wouldn’t that make more sense – or did I just waste a bunch of money? I was also worried about the $5 off $25 being AFTER coupons, but mine is still working the old way – yay!
I did:
Transaction #1:
2 Zyrtec @ $18.99
$37.98
– $5 in ad coupon
– $4 MC
– $4 MC
– $5/$25 Rite Aid coupon
$19.98 OOP – had I been smart I would have tried to use TWO $5 in ad coupons. I thought it would work like the Walgreens ones do and take $5 off each one.
Transaction #2
1 Zyrtec $18.99
1 Carmex $.99
1 Glade Sense & Spray$6.99
2 Kotex 18CT tampons (+4 bonus in each box) 2/$5.00
2 Rubbermaid 2/$4.00
1 Total toothpaste $2.49
1 Tylenol $2.99
$41.45
– $1 carmex printable
– $4 Zyrtec MC
– $5 Zyrtec in ad coupon
– 2 X $.75 Kotex MC’s
– $4 Glade MC
– $1 rubbermaid MC
– $2 Tylenol MC
$22.95
-$2.49 Colgate SCR
-$2.00 Tylenol SCR
-$1/2 Rubbermaid SCR
-$2 Glade SCR
– $2/2 Kotex SCR
$13.46
Both transactions
$19.98+$13.46=$33.44
– $25 rebate on $50 Johnson & Johnson purchase
– $10 rebate on $50 Zyrtec rewards
TOTAL = PROFIT of $1.56
which could have been $6 more with one more Rite Aid in ad zyrtec coupon and one more rubbermaid coupon which I lost in my purse ;-)
AND – had I not been paranoid that the $5 off $25 would not work on the BEFORE coupon total – this could have been split into 3 transactions and I could have saved another $5 on top of that with a 3rd $5 off $25 coupon.
Moral of the story – if you do it right – you could make a PROFIT of over $12 on these items worth $106.89 retail!!
Joy
my math was wrong. I forgot to take the $5/$25 RA printable off transaction #2 making the total for that transaction $8.46 and the total potential profit OVER $17.00!

Raquel, I had problems for a little while at our local RiteAid’s, so I emailed corporate. Here was their response: “Rite Aid will accept internet coupons up to the equivalent value of $5.00 off. No more than one internet coupon permitted per sale transaction. Internet coupons must have a valid barcode that scans successfully into the
register.” I emailed [email protected], so I would recommend emailing them, then printing the email and taking it to your local RiteAid stores. As a result of one of my complaints, the local RiteAid store even called me and apologized. I hope this helps!
Raquel
Thanks Holly, I will email them today. I never had a problem before until recently. The cashier said manegement changed the policy. I will make sure to keep a copy of the email in my purse.
Dizzy Mommy
Ive never had a problem at my Rite Aid using any number of internet coupons. But then again you never know…. When I put in for my Rebates this month it came up instead of a $25 giftcard.. as $25 dollars added on the check. Im hoping this is how it works out because that would be great. Also I recieved an email telling me I qualified for the $10 gc and I used coupons.
Becky
I’ve never recieved a rebate check before this one… sense its a post card do I need to do something special with it… or can I just sign it and deposit it like a regular check?
Joy
I jsut got confirmation that getting 3 zyrtec – even with all the coupons – qualified for both the $25 rebate and the $10 zyrtec rebate! YAY!
RAquel
Hello ladies,
I just wanted to post the email I recieved from Rite Aid.
Rite Aid accepts all internet coupons as long as the value of the coupon is below $5.00. We also make available our own online coupons that are available via myriteaid.com. You will receive $50.00 in coupons just for signing up and can join the “My Coupons” section of the site to receive additional coupons every week. Also, you can use more than one coupon per transaction.

Thanks for the info, Raquel! If you are open to it, I think it would be very helpful to reply and ask if there’s a limit on Internet coupons per transaction. I’ve read that you can only use one per transaction, and I’m wondering if that’s per corporate policy or the store.
RAquel
I just replied and ask if there is a limit to how many internet coupons you can use.
RAquel
I just recieved the response
Raquel,
There is no limit.

Tara if you like I can forward my email to you so you can have a copy of it.
Tara Kuczykowski
That would be wonderful, Raquel. I can blank out the email addresses and make a PDF for others to print and carry with them if you’re okay with it.
RAquel
Would you like me to send it to you gmail account.
Tara Kuczykowski
That would be perfect – dealseekingmom (at) gmail (dot) com
Thanks a bunch! I’m sure my other readers will be thrilled.

Just as a point of note, in my area, at least, there was also an in-ad Q for $1 off the Colgate Total. I also found this a good week for the Advil/Thermacare deal. I bought a 100 ct. Advil that had a bonus mini-bottle of Advil PM. I used the $2 in-ad Q, and a $1 IP. Add to that 2 Thermacare products that were B1G150%off, plus 2 $3 Qs. Doing that plus the toothpaste and Tylenol MMs, my OOP after rebates and gift card is $.21. Since it was all stuff I needed anyway, I won’t complain about paying 4.2 cents per item. :)
