I just bought a $50 gift certificate for $4.00! It's a restaurant I haven't heard of, and it's for a minimum $100 purchase... but it was only $4.00! I have a large extended family that like to all get together for dinner at restaurants occasionally. We could easily spend $100. For half off, even mediocre food is worth it for a family get-together. It's not about the food, after all!

Katy, the gist of what I'm seeing is not that Restaurant.com is selling your credit card information but that they may offer you a cash back offer if you give them permission to share your information with a partner company. As long as you purchase only the gift certificates and don't sign up for any other offers without reading very carefully, your credit card information should be safe.

This is terrific, I just purchased ten certificates - we'll either use them for special occasions or pass them along to people.

I have no idea why this one is up here, from 2008 - but we have a local restaurant that we use these certificates on, so I tried the code and it is invalid
