just ordered mine. Takes about an hour to make by the time you upload pics.

I just tried to make a kids book and the code didn't work for it even though it's less than $39.95. Wonder why? Oh well, it was still fun to make.

The site has pretty much crashed. i'm guessing 25,000 are all trying to log on right now... :)

Ugh...Spent the last 1/2 or more going thru and uploading pictures. Tried to upload a few more and it kept releasing an error message. Now the page isn't loading at all. I hope they can get it back up and this is a great DEAL!

I got mine last night at about 9pm & it was slow (about an hour) but worked well.

Kimberly- as far as I have read the code only works on the $39.99 personalized cover books.

Bummer, I have tried for the last twenty minutes and keep getting "Unhandled Exceptions". Even trying to shoot a friendly email to Cust support wasn't happening.

I'm having the same issue as Jen :( I was "previewing to order" and it timed out, saying unhandled exceptions.

I made one yesterday morning with no problem, but it seems after that the site was having problems on and off.

How much is shipping & handling??? Before I spend crazy time to make. thanks

There wasn't a S/H charge, it was totally free! However, this was a very poorly thought out promo on their part! Why not just give out 25,000 codes or let the first 25,000 register and have the code put in an account to be used later? Why on Earth would you want your site to be bombarded with 25,000 people trying to race thru and make a photo book??? I was able to get one in time, but after an extremely long and frustrating experience...Unless the quality is beyond superb, my photo book business will continue to be elsewhere. :(

I finished mine last night around 9. Did take a long time - was worth it though. The shipping & handling is free. The order total was $00.00

I have been trying to create the "free" book all morning with no luck. Just out of curiosity I decided to try and create a different item and I was easily able to create a mug and an ornament!! Seems to be just the "free" book that is not working. :-( Maybe they never bargained on so many people taking them up on their offer!!!

The site was jammed, but I was persistant and by 9:30 I was able to order my book. Shipping is deducted off the charges when you confirm too so it was absolutely free! :)

I just placed my order & had few problems. HINT: Make sure you upload ALL of your pictures all at once, I had huge problems when I went back to upload more after already begining my book.

Just got my confirmation email! It took me about an hour to do mine. The site doesn't seem that slow right now. I'm so glad they offered this because I had just been looking at having a photobook made! Thanks!

I made one for less than $2.00 - Not sure why mine costs two bucks...I must have accidentally added some pages. It went WAY faster when I didn't have to keep uploading pictures. Thanks DSM for helping me do Christmas shopping on a small budget!

Been trying to get it done since about 3 p.m. Got all my photos uploaded with no trouble but when I go to start designing the book, I get the "Technical Difficulties" message. The person on Live Chat said to just keep trying (site overload). Six hours later, still trying...*sigh*

I'm stuck on the Billing page!!! It won't let me go to place order. any suggestions? i've spent the past 3 hours putting this together and don't want to lose it!

finally got mine to work yesterday, but it was in the early morning hours. i didn't add that many pictures at all since it kept saying low resolution on most of all my photos, and i tried about everything to make it not say that, but no luck, so i added pictures to the front cover, and on three other pages, the rest i left blank (black), since i always can just add more photos to it on my own, i can always pick up stuff from the kraft store & get creative with it. i was thinking about having people sign it in silver or gold ink, maybe write memories in it on one page & then something different on the next. i dont know, the ideas are endless.....

I just made mine with no problems. I thought it went really fast. It took about an hour after uploading all the photos (about 40) adding captions and text and playing around till I got it the way I wanted it. When I put the code in I made sure to use all caps. I'm not sure if that made a difference, but I see some people had trouble using the code. They still want a credit card on the billing page, but states your card will not be charged if you owe $0.00. A lot of fun, can't wait to get it!

I could not sleep, so I thought that I would give it a shot since everyone else is sleeping and I have time. Well, I got my photos uploaded and started my book and then on page two it stopped. Frustrated!

Patience is a virtue with this deal. I took the advice from a reader and uploaded any and all pictures I MIGHT even think about using. I also was given the "low resolution" flag on one of my pic's and found this was a cell phone picture. I used it anyway as I used the same one on a Kodak ornament and it came out fine, they just won't guarantee the print. When it seemed to have stalled, I walked away for a few minutes and when I returned the book was all loaded, it just takes time. Remember to close out all your other applications to help speed up the process. Good luck and Safe and Happy Holidays!

This takes time but is so worth it. I did it today and it took me about 2 and a half hours to put in everything I wanted but in the end it was awesome! I used my honeymoon pictures to make a gift for my husband. If you have the time do it - just be patient. THANKS SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!

I did mine today and though there were some error messages, etc., I was able to figure it out. Great deal!

FYI - if you are using a mac, make sure to use Safari as your browser. I had a problem with checkout so I opened Firefox and checked out that way because I couldn't get the state/country click boxes to work.

Thank you soooo much for sharing this. I've spent the past 24 hours gathering and restoring photos of my grandparents, some of which are over 75 years old. I made a lovely book for my grandmother, and everything worked flawlessly other then being a tad bit slow.

Just finished my book. The site was a bit slow, and it took me about an hour to organize everything. But I uploaded all my photos at once like the other ladies suggested.

I used the code BONNIE and all charges came off, just as promised. So excited about this offer! Thanks for posting!!

Thanks for posting this, DSM. This wasn't my favorite photo book website to work with, as there didn't seem to be any free-hand layout (place-the-pictures-yourself and stretch or shrink them) but it sure was an amazing deal.
