I normally don’t post money-back guarantees because I don’t condone using these as mail-in rebates in order to get free products even when you are satisfied, but I’ve received a few emails from Deal Seeking Mom readers who don’t like the new Pampers Swaddlers or Cruisers with DryMax technology, so I wanted to share this one.
Pampers is so sure that you’ll like the new technology that they’re offering a satisfaction guarantee!
If you’re unsatisfied with the new diapers, send your original receipt, the UPC from your Pampers Swaddlers or Cruisers Dry Max package, and your full name and mailing address printed on a 3×5 card to:
Pampers Dry Max Guarantee Offer
P.O. Box 900082
El Paso, TX 88590-0082
Or you can call 1-800-PAMPERS to speak with a Pampers representative.
This offer is limited to one redemption per household on one pack. Refund is the full purchase price of your one Dry Max diaper pack, plus $1 for postage. Offer expires 10/31/2010.
Have you tried these new Pampers Swaddlers or Cruisers Dry Max diapers yet? What did you think?
Thanks, Maven of Savin’!

I tried the new Dry Max Cruisers on my 2-year old. She had been using Pampers her entire life. My daughter did not get a diaper rash from these….it was much worse than that….she had a localized burn on her labia that caused days of screaming. It blistered. It scarred. It was awful. 24 hours after being in Huggies, teh blisters began to resolve. I will never use these diapers again. Ever. The money back guarantee is not worth seeing your child in that much pain. I am a healthcare provider myself—and I know what to look for. This was a severe reaction that should not happen at the hands of a diaper. My daughter’s pediatrician also saw other similar cases. Stay away!

I tried the new ones on my 2 in diapers and had no problems with them. However, I didn’t like the fact that the part that absorbs everything barely went to the lower back. Yeah they say they are more absorbant but if you are going to make something more absorbant then why not make it like every other diaper. I had to change them just as often as I did when I use Luvs, which we have been using for a year and a half not, so why am I going to spend more and get just as much as I do with a less expensive brand?

I tried Pampers Cruisers with Dry Max and my son developed a horrible bleeding rash from them. After switching to Huggies the rash went away. I will NEVER ever use Pampers Cruisers with Dry Max again. My mom managed to get a few packages of the old Cruisers and we have had no problems with them. Why would they change something that worked fine? I contacted Pampers about my son’s rash and they sent me 6 coupons for free packages of Pampers. They recommeded I try Pampers baby dry or Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive. I haven’t yet, but do appreciate their quick repsonse.

I personally didn’t care for these either for my son, but they were okay enough to at least finish…I just didn’t use them at night because he always leaked. I did want to add though to go with the money back guarantee, which like with these diapers, I normally would not do, but I had boughten a pack of Luvs diapers and with almost every diaper the straps (or whatever you call them) would tear right off the diaper, sometimes while putting it on, and a few times while my son was wearing them. When that happen during the night once I felt I could no longer use them and was seding in for my money back. I felt though that since this is a rare thing I should write Luvs as well so they new that at least one bad pack went out. They were so very apologetic, sent me an envelope to return so they could further inspect the issue of the pack and sent me more than enough very high value coupons. I think it is awesome how some companies really stand by their products and want costumer satisfaction. And again, thatwill prob. be the last time I do that, but I was very impressed by the response I got!!!

I usually use huggies, but have been using the pampers crusiers and have not had any problems. My daughter has not developed a rash nor any leaking from the diapers, thankfully. I like them and have bought several packages. I’m not sure what is going on with everyone else, but hopefully they will clear up these problems.

they’ve been absorbant enough, but they leave diaper residue all over my son’s bottom. . . lots of little fuzzies. fortunately we haven’t experienced any serious effects, but it certainly was annoying. i was just wondering the other day if there’s a money back guarantee on these. . . thanks for posting this!

We have used Pampers for all our boys and we love them…. until now. The new pampers caused my son massive blisters that were bigger than half dollar on each side of inside thighs and above genitals. They have left permanent scars and caused unbearable pain to my 2 yr old. Bring back the old Pampers

I am a total Pampers snob…but I don’t like the new Dry Max Cruisers either. I am all about the Baby Dry, so I hope they don’t change those. My daughter gets a little more irritated in her diaper area when she wears them…and I change her just as often in them as I do Baby Dry. I’m so sorry to hear about the babies who suffered from such awful sores! How sad!

Thanks for all of the great posts. It’s been a long time since I purchased disposable diapers (38 years). I now have a friend expecting her 1st baby and I have been using coupons to buy some packages of diapers for her baby shower. This week there is a CVS-EB for the large pack of pampers, I was going out this evening to purchase, and I will be sure to buy the “sensitive” only! Hopefully there won’t be any issues. I certainly thought that “Swaddlers” was a great sounding name for the product, and assumed that Pampers were the best diapers to buy. I have only purchased a couple of packages of Huggies, and 1 package of LUVS so far. I am guessing from the posts that these are ok. Thanks again.

I have been a loyal Pampers customer through two children but my baby recently developed blistering around his thighs and abdomen after wearing Pampers Swaddlers. It was a horrible reaction and left him in screaming pain. We had to put a sanitary napkin between the diaper and his skin so that the diaper wouldn’t stick and tear open the wound every time we changed him. I know that Pampers has a tremendous amount of money invested in the “technology” but I am really wondering how many infants and toddlers will be hurt before they remove the product from the market.

I wish they had honored this guarantee when they first started sneaking the new design into the old packaging in my market (mid year last year). When I called their help line, I was told I must be doing something wrong, that the terrible rashes both of my daughters developed must be my fault and not the new diaper design. Strange how I managed to diaper daughter #1 for 2 years without trouble! Anyway, all the leaks and rash issues prompted me to go with cloth diapers now, and so far I’m very happy with our choice.
Thank you, pampers, for helping me save money and go green! :S

My little guy got blisters on his bottom and was screaming in pain every diaper change from only 3 dry max diapers when he hasn’t had a rash in his life. They also don’t hold near as much as their other styles – my guy leaked overnight & that never happens. When I complained, they said I’d just put the diaper on wrong! They’ve been incredibly insulting to anyone who even suggests their product may be defective. I hate Pampers now. This has been my motivation to go to cloth full time.

i am sorry to hear about all these rashes these poor babies are getting. we use pampers on our daughter and havent had any trouble with the dry max or any other type of pampers, but i did want to let all you moms out there know that if you …do love the old pampers i noticed them at our local Big Lots store, im guessing thats where they shipped all the old non dry max diapers to, they had the swaddlers and the cruisers, and since its at big lots they were cheaper than a target or walmart would charge. so if you still love pampers but not the dry max check your local Big Lots or discount retailer and maybe they will have them also :)
Dylan
Why buy them there overpriced Luvs is way better and they guarantee all there diapers not just one pack and you get money back not coupons like the pampers company gives out for unsatisfied costmers
