If you’ve never heard of baking your hard boiled eggs, boy are you in for a treat! While it’s not necessarily a faster method, it is far less hands on, allowing you to complete other tasks instead of watching for your pot of water to boil.
What’s more, cooking hard boiled eggs in the oven allows me to make bigger batches at one time, and my eggs turn out perfectly cooked every time!
Have you ever tried this method? If not, try it and let me know what you think!
Tara
Been doing this for a LONG time now! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Super easy!

I’m right “up there” with Mary Beth Elderton. I’d never heard of this technique. But, you can bet your bottom dollar the next time I need to make deviled eggs, I’ll give it a go. It’ll also be so wonderful not too fret if they’ll boil over.

I just heard of this last week! I tried it today and LOVE it! Thanks! :)

Won’t the eggs explode in the oven? How do you know when they are done?
Tara Kuczykowski
No, they won’t explode. Just cook them according to the instructions in the post, and they should be done! This method will yield a more yellow yolk that’s a bit creamier — so delicious.
