I've heard in the past that you can purchase these promotional items before the sale day and have them adjusted, but I've never tried it personally. I'd recommend asking a sales associate what their policy is.

I am an Old Navy employee & you are correct about the price adjustment. Old Navy policy is that you have 14 days for a one-time price adjustment. All you need to do is bring your reciept in & they scan it at the register & anything that has gone on sale will be adjusted. Was wondering when people would figure out this is the smart thing to do with sales like this!! (Too bad employees aren't eligible for price adjustments!!) Just remember this is a one day sale so you'll need to do the adjustment on Saturday!

There was a 25% off coupon in the 12/6 newspaper. If you are an ON cardholder you probably also got 3 $10 off $10 coupons in the mail!

If you use coupons on your purchase ... will ON still do a price adjustment for you?
I would say just keep your coupon until Saturday.
When you purchase them pay full price without a coupon and then on saturday get you adjusted price and coupon.
Do we know what style this is? May go after work!

I worked for Gap for 6 years (same company, same computers).
If you ARE going to buy them now and do a price adjustment, make sure you use your coupon on the FIRST purchase. If you bring your coupon w/you on Saturday, per co. policy it should not be honored. If you use your coupon on the first trans and take back to do the price adjust, they will take the discount off after they price adjust.(it shows your coupon on the receipt)

I missed the $50 off $100 at 8:12cst.....does anyone know what time it actually updated? Does it change each Thursday as before or if we could nail it down to a specific time frame, we might have better luck.

I just bought 3 fleeces and will go back tomorrow for the price adjustment. When I went to the store, the employee told me to do that since they had a limited selection (I bought all the smalls) and are not getting a shipment until next week.
I found this out... stores may be holding back inventory until tomorrow. These "One Day Wonders" as they are called, draw in a lot of customers so they are told to hold back merchandise until the day of the sale. Also, the sale of the "jingle jammies" event was moved up. All pajama bottoms for kids, men, and women are 7.00 starting today instead of Sunday. And next weeks One Day Wonder is the cozy socks for 1.00, limit 5.
can you purchase the fleece online or do you have to go to the store?
Elizabeth I cannot find them to purchase online and my OldNavy sold out about the time they opened so I missed out on them! But it was a great deal if you were about to get them.
I previously purchased a fleece jacket and went in yesterday afternoon and had a price adjustment on that and a pair of pajama bottoms. I had used a 15% coupon when I purchased the items and that didn't matter. I received $7.33 back on my ON credit card.
So you are able to buy the items ahead of time and go in on the day of the "One Day Wonders" and get a price adjustment. As long as it's within 14 days of purchase.
It is on Saturday the 11th instead of the 12th. That is what the commercial and the poster says on this website. Please be sure you get your facts correct next time. Thank You

It states the sale date as 12/12/10 and you are saying it is on saturday, (today) 12/11/10. I went to the old navy website and there is no 5 dollar fleece for sale. Help! Thanks, Janell
Online has the fleece is $10 not $5 which is the store price. Just went to Old Navy and then was checking here and online just thought I would update those looking for online deals. Looks like you'll have to truck to the store, sorry.
