It says that all the 3.99 ones are temporarily unavailable.

Just wanted to make everyone aware that the $15.00 Olay rebate is void in the state of Maine. I went out and bought 3 Olay items before printing out the rebate then discovered it was void in Maine!

If you're not sure how to use the inexpensive Suave, my friend recently gave me this recipe for homemade Fabric Softener:

6 cups hot water
3 cups white vinegar
2 cups Suave Conditioner (I use refreshing waterfall mist)

Combine the hot water and conditioner and shake or stir until the conditioner is dissolved. Add the vinegar, mix well and your ready to go.

anyone else having difficulty finding the deals Tara is talking about at Walgreens and Target THIS week? Perhaps, she means the coming week...?

Tarrah, it looks like I had the Walgreens post tagged wrong so it wasn't showing up. You should be able to navigate to it now. As far as Target, make sure you're clicking through to the full list. It's not listed in the highlights.

The $3.99 Olay Body Wash is not available at this time. ALSO the coupon for the Pillsbury Refrigerated Sweet Rolls states that it can not be doubled or tripled. Have to wait for a good sale on them!!!!

I just went to Alice.com to complete the deal, but it looks like ALL Olay items (not just the body wash) are temporarily unavailable.

There are 2 different body washes available right now on Alice. I am not seeing the deal with Target either. I see Target has Softsoap on sale this week, but not Oil Of Olay. I clicked on see the full list match up but no olay. I also went back and looked at the flier.

It's listed under the Target gift card deals, the 4th deal down.

I am gald that I checked the comments! Although I tried the Alice deal and found as most of you did that they are out of stock, I may have run out to buy them at Walgreens only to find that the rebate is not available in MAINE where I am! Nancy, hopefully you are able to return yours.

The alice website says shipping is always free.

Thanks Tara found them. They are also still unavailable on Alice, once you click on add it shows as temporarily unavailable. Nancy do you have a friend or relative in another state whose address you could use with your name for the rebate?

Another good place to look for Olay deals is stuff that's placed on clearance. I just picked up three of the Olay Definity cleansers at Walgreens clearanced for $2.79 ea. What a great moneymaker!

Thanks for the tip! This is great for those who aren't able to make it out to a store given the weather, etc.

What a great idea Tara!! I would have never thought of shopping through Alice for this. Anyways, too bad their stock is already out although I am sure they will restock before the rebate is over.

I can use an address in another state. Will it make any difference that the sales receipt is from a store located in maine?

Reply

Tobie, I can still use the receipt for the 10o.oo P&G rebate.

I found these for buy 1 get 1 half off at Walgreens

Nancy, not sure but worth a try i guess. I wonder if the address for the refund can't be Maine or if it's the purchase place too.

I am wondering how we can make use of both the Olay rebate and the $100 mail in coupon booklet offer. Do you know if a store will print 2 of the same recipts (s that one item can count toward both offers). When you send in the reciept for purchases on Alice.com do you just send a copy of yourinvoice (that might be a way to use both offers).
Thanks!

I just ordered from Alice. It is 4:36 eastern time and they had the Body Wash for $3.99 in stock. I added two suave- one was $1.10 and the other was $0.79. My total was $12.86.
So that a $2.14 moneymaker!
AND it said my shipment should arrive in 3 days!

3 olay washes for 10.64 (first time customer so didn't have to add items). almost $5 money maker! also called Olay to make sure Alice.com printed order confirmation would be ok- YES! So I am going to submit to the $15 rebate and the $100 coupon book offer!

1. Went to Target.
2. Bought 3 Olay body washes for 5.50 each, they were the big 23.6 oz ones (2 Quench and one Ultra Moisturizing) as opposed to the 18 oz ribbon ones on Alice.
3. Body washes each came with a 2 oz bonus travel size body wash.
4. Target had a deal where if you bought 3 of these Olay body washes, you would get a $5 Target gift card.
Total: I made $3.26 ($5.50 x 3 - $15 - $5 + $.24 in tax), got 16 extra oz of body wash from the larger size, plus got 6 more oz in travel size.
I've tasted blood and I want more.

mary, what is the $100 coupon book and how do i order it?

27 Laura February 18, 2010 at 3:46 am

Nancy, you could probably use a different ship-to and sold-to address. I'm sure the rebate would honor the sold-to address even though they're being shipped to your house. Just a thought.

Does anyone know if drugstores can print duplicate receipt?

Reply

33 Laura February 18, 2010 at 1:36 pm

Zuly - I know for a fact that Walgreens can print a rebate receipt, but you have to let them know in advance that you need one. Some clerks don't even realize that they are able to print them, so check out this page for instructions how to print them. You may have to get a manager.

As for other drugstores... I have no idea. CVS or Rite-Aid may be able to; just find the manager and ask.

I also know for a fact that Target can print an extra receipt at the end of a sale, so that's where I'll be headed for those $5.50 Olay body washes.

thanks for the tip -- I would never have thought of Alice.com for this deal. I bought a $50 gift card from them for $25 back at the holidays! Nice way to stretch the bucks!

All the $3.99 body washes were unavailable, but I chose three facial washes. Two were $4.89 and one was $5.59 (actually $8.59-$3.00=$5.59). My total after tax was $16.29. Still a great deal after $15 rebate.

I know Rite Aid can print a duplicate receipt. Just bring in your receipt and they can look up the original and print it for you

Are the total effects products the only olay products we can buy for the rebate?

MP, the rebate states you can purchase any 3 Olay Facial Moisturizers, Facial Treatments, Facial Cleansers, Hand & Body Lotions, Body Washes or 6+ Bar Soap Packs.

I just did this deal on Alice, and the pink colored body wash was out, but the others were in. Your post says you have to have 5 items for free shipping, but Alice told me I needed 6 - but it worked out fine. I posted about this great deal on my blog too - and I linked back to you. Thanks!

I notice the Olay rebate is pretty open-ended, with no specific kind of body wash or lotion, or how many minimum ounces the products needs to be. On the Target web, they show a one ounce Olay Quench Extra Day Body Lotion for $0.99. Would this not qualify for the rebate as well? Why not buy three of these, spend $3, and make $12.00 on the rebate deal? Thanks for the info!

42 Tara Kuczykowski February 21, 2010 at 11:04 pm

That's a very good point, Lisa. I just looked over the rebate again, and I don't see any minimum specs. I'm not sure they'd actually fulfill the rebate, but it would be interesting to give it a try just to see. Technically you'd be well within the stated terms of the rebate.

This may seem like a weird question, but... does anyone have the UPC for the bonus packs of Olay Quench body wash (23.5-oz.) w/ trial bonus (2-oz.)? I accidentally recycled the UPC packaging that was holding the trial/body wash together, and I'm not sure using the UPC for just the body wash will work.

Oh - my above comment was in reference to the bonus packs found at Target. Thanks!
