For this catalina offer – I’ve seen posted for a long time that the ‘end date’ is 1/24/10 –
is this end date of 1/31/10 a recent change on this? could you confirm this?
if the end date is still 1/24/10, then you need to buy your items by tomorrow, Sunday, 1/24/10.

Where do you find out about these catalina deals? I’m nervous to attempt them without something in writing as I’ve had hit or miss luck with them in the past.

It may be that it varies by store. I know the offer at Meijer doesn’t end until 1/31.

I can’t find $0.55/1 Breakstone’s Sour Cream Q, is it gone? Thanks.
Linda
I did this $5 oyno wyb 5 kraft items this past week when my store had cheese on sale. Tonight I decided to try it with the breakstone sour cream since I had 5 printable coupons but alas no $5 cat :( I’ve heard of people calling the cat company and getting their cats mailed. Do you have any info on that? Btw this was at Giant Eagle.

I did mine at Kroger and also they had buy 10 of certain things and recieve $5.00 automaticlly and with the coupons I had ,I got 6 kraft cheese, 3 cream cheese, 1 deli-creations (hubby loves those) , plus sargento cheese (10 packages of those) and when all tallied up and minusing all coupons, and all my $5.00 off , I only spent a total of 14.67 and I still have my $5.00 off my next shopping order which I am going to use Wednsesday to get me some Edys ice cream since I have a $2.00 coupon off of that and they are 2.98 right now . Love their chocolate and butter pecan. I just had to tell someone about what a great deal I got today. Over $70 worth of food for less than $15.00. WOW

Anyone have any luck freezing cheese? I’d like to take advantage of this offer at Kroger, but I know that all of that cheese would go bad since we only have 3 people in our family.
Wendy
Lori-
Hiding cheese in the back of the freezer is the only way it lasts in my house. Shredded cheese freezes very well–you can use it straight from the freezer to sprinkle on dishes that are going to be cooked. Block cheese gets crumbly when thawed (sometimes if you thaw it slowly in the refrigerator it works but I wouldn’t count on it).

Lori,
I agree with Wendy. My daughter does a lot of homemade cooking (ever since she discovered what pots and pans are for 2 years ago and she’s 25 now lolol) and she said the same as Wendy about freezing but never freeze sour cream.

I just wanted to say that I did this at meijer last night and it worked!
