New Johnson’s Baby Coupons (FREE Johnson’s Buddies Soaps!)

by Tara Kuczykowski on January 5, 2010 · 51 comments

I'm so excited about this new $1/1 Johnson's Baby Product printable coupon! You see, it excludes trial sizes, but it doesn't exclude the Johnson's Buddies Soaps that my kids love so much. And my Buddies stockpile has been dwindling, so now I can replenish it for FREE.

How do you get them free? These soaps are priced as low as $0.97 at many stores, including Target and Walmart, so they’re simply free after coupon! Of course, this is YMMV, but I've never had an issue redeeming them.

Johnson’s Buddies Soap, $0.97
$1/1 Johnson's Baby Product printable
FREE after coupon!

You could also use one of these insert coupons:

  • $1/1 Johnson's Baby Product, exp. 1-15-10 (RP 11/8/09)
  • $1/1 Johnson's Baby Product, exp. 3-15-10 (RP #2 1/3/10)

I doubt this coupon will last long, so print yours now! There's also a hot new $1/1 Johnson's Body Care Product printable that might come in handy too.

My Target wouldn't allow me to use this coupon on the Buddies soap today -- explanation was that it wasn't one of the items pictured on the coupon. Bummer!

Sharon I would have fought that one. The coupon states ANY Johnson's baby product. Not what was just pictured. Is anyone else getting sick of Target and their made up rules lately?

Ive found with Target it greatly depends on the cashier, you have no idea how many times I've been told well its not the one pictured, because its not the same scent on Febreeze (even though its the correct item). Some cashiers like my cousin (19 year old comic book guy) honestly with I drove crazy the week before christmas with a crash course on coupons when I went through his line. His manager asked me if I would help train cashiers when they get new ones. The target is a bit of a drive but I think it will be fun.

I have had alot of problems with my local Target lately. So many problems I have stopped going there.

I had a cashier at Meijer last night tell me there was a new law on coupons. I was like "law? what are you talking about?" That no one is allowed to accept expired coupons and that you can not use a coupon after the purchase. You know like you checkout and then go up to CS because a coupon wasn't scanned. It was some teenage boy. He was like this coupon thing is so ridiculous and we should just all and any coupons. I didn't even say a word I just walked out.

YMMV?? What does that mean?

Thanks

Mine is saying that all the coupons that I want to print have expired! Does anyone know why? Thanks!

I had to go to redplum.com for it to work for me. The link above kept telling me the coupons were expired.

Stephanie- I didn't know you could use expired coupons at all.

Reply

11 Stephenie January 5, 2010 at 5:10 pm

Veronica- Our Dominicks by me will take expired coupons. However, they make up their own rules daily so I refuse to go there.

Ive been using the ones clipped from the paper for a few months now. They've had at least two; some that expired in Dec and newer ones that expire next week on 1/15. I've gotten at least 50 packs of soap from target within the last few months because I've just ordered from a clipper. The coupon will beep and say the item isnt there, but once the cashier looks at the item and verifies its not a trial size and a johnsons baby product, Ive never had any problem

I've noticed Walmart doing the same thing lately, looking at the picture of the item on the coupon and aruging about taking it if what you're purchasing isnt shown exactly. Frankly, I think it's crap. The coupon usually says ''any''.

Oh, Stephenie your first post was soo funny I can hardly type! I can just picture the look you must have had on your face when this kid tried to tell you about the "law" thing.

Wouldn't the any body care product work too, since soap atleast IMO is a body care product??? I could be wrong......

I have used this coupon Johnson's Baby Qtips and got them for next to nothing. They are like 1.19 at wal-mart. so if your wal-mart says that the buddies soaps are not baby you could use it on the Bbay Qtips. Just a suggestion.

Oh I might try using the other body care coupon on the buddies soaps too. it might just work, it is a body care item.

I tried to print directly from Red Plum, and I still got the expired error. :(

My Walmart doesn't carry these soaps here any more! I have to go to Target to get them. Not the first time I have noticed our WM quit stocking something that is free after Q. :(

Q expired for me too this link and redplum.. Not sure what the problem is. What zip are people using. I tried mine 47172 and my favorite old TV show 90210. Hate to miss this again the coupons must be regional too because they are not in my inserts. Ugh

I just went to my Walmart and they do not carry them anymore. They always had them before. Also all the stores have been really looking at the coupons lately. I had this lady the other day sit there and read every single one and match it up to the product even though I had $200 worth of stuff. It is like the coupon police are out in full force. I have been using coupons for over 10 years and have never seen such a thing. Then the other day the cashier at Dillons acted strange too, even though it scanned though she said it didn't match the pic. What is going on???

I got the expired notice from both this sites link and going directly to RedPlum's site. I find it annoying that a coupon would still be listed when it is expired but then again I haven't been overly happy with RedPlum as of late. I have been e-mailing with them all week trying to get a straight answer out of them about how RedPlum coupons are distributed, the NIVEA coupons referenced in the CVS ad were not in either RedPlum in my paper. They keep telling me to get a copy of the circular from CVS and tell them to include my zip code in future promotions... does any one know what that means? Essentially in the end they said they have nothing to do with what coupons are in their books in the paper?

My Walmart stopped carrying these as well. But CVS and Kroger carry them too. I not a big fan of Walmart anyway but it's the only discount store we have here.

Coupon says expired for me too. That doesn't make any sense since these coupons were just posted a few days ago. I think redplum has a bug.

I was able to print 2x, the zip I use is 34769 and it works. The expiration date is Feb 4 2010. I had hubby check publix while he was there and they have the soap for $1.09. I am going to go to target to get them, but if all else fails I can get them for .09 after coupon at publix. I also purchased 10 of them from couponclippers.com. Hope the zip works for people.

Brigitte, I just tried again with that zip, and it still doesn't work.

I had my sister try to print it too and she got the expired message, so I went to try it again and got the same message. I emailed the red plum people and asked the question so I will let you know what the response is. I am wondering if it means that they have reached the print limit for the coupon. I have a sister and sister in law both pregnant so it was well worth it for me to buy 10 from the coupon clippers site, even if the end result is me actually paying for one to get all the others free.

Hello, I was able to print out two today with the exp of 2/10/10.
I went to my target store and they had the baby bath bars (pink package, didn't have the bath buddies) marked down to $1.54, so I got them at .54 cent each after coupon. The cashier had to manual override the coupon for me, but did question if I bought the baby bath products, which I had to get it out of the bag to show her. :( it said any baby bath products.

I can't print it either. I tried going directly to redplum.com and got the same expired message :-(

I printed a few yesterday and along with 2 from the paper this last weekend and a couple weeks ago? I think... I got 4 free at Target. I believe they were .97 or .99. It did come up "error" and I said, "It says any johnson baby bath product and this was next to the baby bath soap, in the BABY section" and he said 'eh ok' and gave them to me.

I tried to use mine at Target from the paper, but the cashier wouldn't let me, so I used them at Publix and paid .09.

I was able to print 2 without any trouble a couple of days ago. Used them at Target, but the cashier had to call her supervisor to ok it, which she did. Mine were $1.12 though, still a good deal. I think I'll buy some additionals, it's worth paying a couple of dollars to get that many more for free!

Kmart accepts these coupons too and I think they have them priced at 99 cents.

I JUST LEFT TARGET AND THEY WOULDN'T LET ME USE THE COUPON BECAUSE IT SAYS BABY PRODUCT AND THE BAR OF SOAP IS FOR "TODDLERS" ?!?! AND WHEN I ARGUED IT WAS IN THE BABY AISLE SHE SAID IT WOULDN'T ACCEPT IT BECAUSE THEY WERE ONLY .97 AND NOT A DOLLAR. I AM GOING TO TRY MY PUBLIX AND SEE IF THEY WILL TAKE IT.

Reply

50 ms. drummer January 8, 2010 at 10:32 pm

I also went to target today and I have been using the coupons that have been in the ad for a few months, I had 3 left (that I purchased from a clipper) that expire on 1/15 so I wanted to use them before they expired. I got to the checkout and the girl said, 'you dont have a baby product'. I told her that the soaps were a baby item and were in the baby aisle. She called a manager over, who agreed with me and said, 'yes she can use those because its in the baby section', then the manager looked at the coupon and she said that I couldnt use them because the coupon was for more than the product. I could feel my blood begining to boil because the line was getting long and that has never happened to me in this target. I will be calling corporate on Monday as well as taking my previous receipts there to show them that the coupons had been used and that those were the products I purchased. Target is really getting ridiculous. I just wish there was consistancy.
