I downloaded the (free) app for the iphone and saved myself a couple hundred dollars. You can change the font size and it's completely readable. Love it!

I do not have a Kindle. I bought a Netbook and downloaded the Kindle for PC software - I spent about the same amount of $ on the netbook but I can do a lot more things with it. I am glad I went this direction.

A reliable source tells us Amazon wants to give a free Kindle to every Amazon Prime subscriber.

Just as soon as they can work out how to do it without losing money.

Amazon Prime is a subscription product that gives customers free two day shipping on everything they buy from Amazon. The current fee is $79/year.

We recently got nook and LOVE it! I've actually only paid for 1 book because I've gotten so many others FREE! Its so wasy to use, fit's great in your hand. The nook has a color lower screen too. Plus, something the kindle doesn't have, nook allows you to share books your books with other people.
It is going to be the perfect thing when we take our vacation to Jamaica in May-no bulky books/magazines.

LOL, you can share books on the Kindle with other people on your Amazon account, just not with anyone else.

The Clemens title, You Can't Stop Me, is listed as $4.47 right now...

Thanks for the listing! I'm new to this site, and love the variety of information, and this is one of the posts I most definitely look forward to now!

I'm really thinking of buying one soon...between SwagBucks and my credit card miles, I have enough to get about $100 in Amazon Gift cards, plus some Christmas gift cards left over....I read all of the time, so I'm sure this will pay for itself in no time!
