I had a Green giant coupon which automatically doubled (at my Meijer .50). The cashier took off the coupon and made it only .50. When I asked why she told me Meijer didn't double a coupon that said not to double. I asked for a Manager, I've never had a problem with a manager at Meijer helping me with coupons. I was told Meijer didn't advertise doubling coupons (even though it states it on the back of the paper). I was crazy, the computers were screwing up this week and doubling all coupons.... I'm going to email coperate and see what they say because this manager called me crazy (literally). I told her fine to take off the items, and they were actually mad. I am very happy to see this as I had my first ever problem at Meijer last week using a mealbox coupon. The manager acted like he had never seen one before and asked me where I had gotten it in a tone that implied it was from somewhere bad.
