I went to the Meijer in Davison, MI, and they had the same price - 3/$5 with $1 WYB 3. I had 3 of the $1/2 coupons, so I got $6. To my dismay, the Catalina generator ran out of paper before printing any coupons! I had used a self-serve lane, so I went to the cashier and asked her about and explained what the Catalina should have been. She called someone from Customer Service, they came over, got the details, went back and talked to someone about how to reprint Catalinas. They ended up giving me 2 "Customer Happiness" coupons for $2.50 each, which are good for a month! They made me happy! lol Thanks for letting us know this great deal. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known to ask for the Catalina. :)

I also went to the Meijer in Bolingbrook (near the promenade) The cheese was not on sale for 3 for $5 . I double checked at the price check it came up for 3.79 each. Sarah-how did you get them to enter it manually, I couldn't find an ad showing this sale price and the cashier I asked had no idea what I was talking about.

I just did this deal at the Hilliard Rome Road Meijer (OH) - it worked perfectly, except that I decided to just keep the $5 catalinas for my next trip instead of roll them since I wasn't absolutely sure they would roll.

The cheese rings up at 3 for $5, then 34 cents is automatically deducted 3 times. It works twice if you buy 6 cheeses in one transaction. After coupons (assuming you use 3 of the $1/2 Qs and buy 6 cheeses), the total comes to $4.96, and a $5 catalina prints out at the end. I did 3 separate transactions and bought a total of 18 bags of cheese, spent $14.88 OOP, and got back 3 $5 coupons on your next order (they expire 2-14). My cashier was impressed!

Is anyone having trouble with this deal? went to the meijer in bolingbrook, IL... didn't ring up as 3/$5, so they did it manually and I didn't get my $1/3 off. They had no idea what i was talking about -- is this just a glitch in the system or an advertised sale/discount?

The deal to get the catalina when you buy 5 Kraft cheeses is only through tomorrow, but the actual coupon that prints out shouldn't expire for probably a couple weeks, so you can keep it to use next time.

Christina- The catalina is not good only tomorrow...they are usually good for two weeks from the date they print. Tomorrow is the last day that the catalina will print when doing this purchase.

This catalina does roll. I have done this deal a few times with the Breakstone doubles cottage cheese as well.

Ive been rolling the Kraft Catalina for the last couple weeks, I've had no problems.
Christina- The Catalina can be used on a future purchase, the coupon itself doesn't expire tomorrow. However you wont get the Catalina (it wont print off) because the promotion to get the Catalina (Kraft 5 for $5 promo) ends tomorrow on the 31st. But if you have the Catalina itself you will be able to use it $5 OYNO later in the week I think they are good for two weeks.

I went to Kroger yesterday and the catalina did not work for the Kraft Cheese. I even tried two different transactions. Maybe it only works at other grocery stores.

I forgot to mention that you would use the first $5 catalina that printed to pay for your second order, so you have no out of pocket expense for the second order. Guess that is an important part.

It means that you can use the catalina that prints out when you do this deal to purchase the exact same deal and get another catalina. With this deal, you would purchase the 6 bags/bars of Kraft cheese using all the coupons and the instant $2 off (for buying 6), pay $5, get a $5 catalina good on your next order, and then turn around and do it again, buying another 6 cheeses and getting another $5 catalina at the end. Make sense?

I am really hoping that it does roll because I was just at Kroger doing the Mega event deals, and I found a blinkie near the Kraft cheese for $1/2 packages. I now have enough $1/2 Kraft cheese coupons to do this deal 3 times and get 18 bags of Kraft natural cheese for FREE!!! I can't wait for tomorrow!!

This happened last Sunday at Kroger with their Mega Sale. Is it still available at Kroger or is it only going to be good for Meijers? The catalinas quit printing after last Sunday, so I was just wondering. Thanks!
