Kroger: FREE Duracell Batteries

by Renae @ How to Have It All on November 26, 2010 · 7 comments

Duracell Batteries

Kroger currently has Duracell batteries on sale plus there is a catalina deal running! This is a great opportunity to stock-up on batteries for the Holidays. It looks like the catalina is printing based on the presale price of the batteries which varies in each region. In the Mid-Atlantic region, the pre-sale price is $3.85 which means you only need four packages to generate the catalina.

Duracell Batteries (1-4 ct.), $1.98
Get $3 OYNO wyb $15 worth
$1.50/1 Duracell Batteries, exp. 12-31-10 (RP 11/14/10 #2)
$0.75/1 Duracell Coppertop, exp. 11-30-10 (P&G 10/10/10)

Suggested Scenario

Buy (4) Duracell Batteries at $1.98 ea.
Use (4) $1.50/1 coupons
Pay $1.92, get $3 catalina
Better than FREE after coupons and catalina!

Remember that catalina offers can change at anytime. Also, this offer is rolling. That means you should be able to use the catalina to purchase more batteries and have the catalina print again.

Make sure to look over all of the Kroger Deals before you shop!

I did this deal last week, but I didn't know the catalina printed at the pre-sale price. Ugh! :) I purchased 8 packages, paid $3.84, and got a $3 catalina back. It was still a good deal.

how long is the catalina deal going on?

I didn't receive the catalina teaser, but I've read on multiple sites that it's running through 12/4.

If you buy 4 packages at $1.98 ea. aren't you only paying around $8? I thought you had to spend $15 to get the $3 catalina?

Hi Mindy,
The catalina is printing based on the pre-sale price of the batteries. Depending on what the normal price of the batteries is, you should only need to purchase 4 to 5 packs for the catalina to print.
