My local Kroger has a table stacked with Pampers Cruisers sz 5 jumbo pack diapers advertising that they are sale for $4.49ea w/ card (regularly $8.99ea). This was a random find, as my circular advertises them at the $8.99 price. I bought 3 and used 3 $2/1 Pampers coupons, making them $2.49 per jumbo pack. Even the $1/1 Pampers coupon makes these $3.49ea. I don’t know if this price only applies to the sz 5 diapers and if it’s a local-only deal, but it’s definitely worth investigating!

I forgot to mention that I got a printout for a new Kraft Catalina deal starting on 7/17. The printout came from Albertson’s, so I can’t verify that it will work at other stores, but I’m hoping it will – it would be great combined with a possible sale and coupons! The printout reads:
“Buy Kraft Velveeta Shells & Cheese (9.4 oz. or larger) or Kraft Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese (9.4 oz. or larger) between 7/17 & 8/9 and save up to $4.00 with coupon off a future shopping order. Buy (3) and get $2.00… or buy (4) and get $3.00… or buy (5) or more and get $4.00. All items must be purchased in one shopping order. Limited to items in stock. No cash back. Offer expires 8/9/09.”

Does anyone know if Kroger excepts competitor’s coupons?
Rachel
My Kroger in Dallas TX, had softsoap 10 for $10. And with the $1 off coupons on the web, they’re FREE!!

Kleenex are on the 10 item mega event list, and with several 50 cents off 3 newspaper and printable coupons around, I stocked up and got 6 for 66 cents each. (Could’ve gotten 9 more but didn’t want to overdo it!) Then – I was suprised to receive a Catalina (courtesy of kleenex) for $1.00 off my next shopping order! Not sure how many you have to buy to get the Catalina but with the Catalina mine ended up being about 50 cents a box – not bad!

I’m new to this, but would the $2/1 pullups Shortcuts coupon work also? I can’t figure out if I’m looking at it wrong or not.
Pamela
I see that you posted Kroger has Huggies for $8.99 but I checked my local Kroger add and I don’t see them on sale???
Tara Kuczykowski
Pamela, when does your ad start? I know different regions are on a different schedule so the ads may not match up always. Our sales start on Mondays, but I know a lot of Krogers start on Thursdays.
Laura
Our Kroger ads start on Wednesdays (ZIP 76208). I didn’t see Huggies on sale this past week so I imagine it will be on sale beginning 7/15.
Pamela
Thanks Tara! It starts on Sun. Will I see the Huggies next Sun? Is it possible to not get the same stuff on sale at different Krogers? TIA ; )

The Shortcuts/ Cellfire coupons do stack with the paper manufacturer coupons. Since Pull Ups were on sale I used two $3.00 off coupons, and had2 $2.00 off Shortcuts coupons on my card (one expired today), which made my total $3.99/pkg. I also did the same deal with the Pure and Natural diapers for my newest one. I had two $1.50 coupons from Shortcuts, and then the $3.00 off coupons, so they were only $4.49. I know it’s not as good as the Rite Aid deal, but we don’t have one nearby here and this deal is still a great price for diapers!
Tara Kuczykowski
Michelle, they do stack, but they’re considered a manufacturer coupon and shouldn’t be used with another paper manufacturer coupon. I think they’re pretty lax about it right now because there isn’t any way to choose which coupon you want to use, but it’s not something we should do intentionally.

Our Kroger had Kellogs cereal for $1.99 after the mega deal discount, and with the $1 coupons a good price. I found specially marked boxes that had on the outside $5 in savings. These were the coupons in the box, and I am also submitting for the Kelloggs rebate, so making money on the cereal!!
$1 on one Mini-Wheats
$1 off milk when you buy one cereal
$1 on one Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice
$1 on one Dannon Dan-active
$1 on two poptarts
Karinya
Laura, my coupon booklet also had a $1 off fresh fruit wyb cereal. I love that coupon!

I noticed that Cellfire coupons also stack with paper coupons when I bought Pert Plus for Men for the Try Pert Plus Free rebate. I had a $1/1 Pert paper coupon and then noticed on my receipt that there were actually two coupons used – $1/1 from cellfire and $1/1 for the manufacturer coupon that I scanned. It didn’t notify me that there was a $1/1 coupon on my card or give me a choice on whether or not to use it. I wonder how they’ll implement a system that lets you choose which coupon you want to use? Could get tricky…
