by Tara Kuczykowski on June 3, 2009 · 54 comments

Kmart Super Double CouponsGood news – Kmart Super Double Coupons are back starting June 7th through June 13th!

Manufacturer coupons up to $2 in face value will be doubled for a savings of up to $4.

The rules have changed somewhat this time around:

  • Manufacturer Coupons up to $2
  • Does not include Kmart Store Coupons
  • Does not include Kmart Pharmacy Store Coupons
  • Does not include copies of manufacturer coupons
  • Limit 10 total coupons per customer per day
  • Doubled up to current retail price of a single item

Starting tomorrow you should be able to check the online ad to see if your local store is participating. However, we know that hasn't always bee accurate in the past. So if you want to know for sure, I'd suggest emailing help@customerservice.kmart.com to request the list for your state.

Feel free to leave a comment with the stores that are participating in your area. I know that Heather with NWA Deals already shared that all stores in AR, OK and MO are participating, and Krazy Coupon Lady confirmed that all ID stores are participating as well!

So no internet coupons taken, then?

I am assuming when it says Man. coupons up to $2 than it includes internet printed ones since internet ones are man. coupons as well. Please, anyone, correct me if I am wrong! Thanks :)

I've had the KMart in Little Rock, AR tell me they do not take (and have refused to take all of mine) internet coupons - at all. Not for the Super Doubles and not even on "regular" days. Do they have a corp policy regarding this - does anyone know?

Last time I emailed Kmart CS and they told me they didn't take IP but a lot of people on coupon forums were talking about their stores taking them so I called up my local stores and asked and they said they did take them. And I didn't have any problems when I used them. They all doubled automatically.

My local KMART accepts IPs. Its even being announced over the loud speaker while im there that they now accept them. I live in Pittsburgh, PA.

I live in Oklahoma and just spoke with a manger at a local KMart and was told they do accept internet coupons! YEAH! Although he did not know about the double coupon event taking place next week? Hmmmm How come nobody is ever on the same page. The lady at customer service had told me they do accept IP's but if for some reason they don't scan they will not be able to accept them, that's when i asked to speak to the manager and he told me as long as they have a barcode they will accept them? That's what i mean about the same page. Do they not have meetings to cover this stuff so "EVERYONE" knows what the policy is? UGH I guess i will have to see how it goes. Good Luck everyone! lol

I have not been in a Kmart store in years because until recently they opened on up about 5 miles from my home. It would be worth going if they are doubling coupons. Do they carry any grocery or household items. I thought they did years ago.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure if it made a difference, but I emailed corp. about the limit of 10 coupons - isn't worth it for those like me who drive 35 minutes to the nearest Kmart!! (although, the Kmart I go to has not been limiting to 25 like they were supposed to so maybe I will luck out and I will be able to - unless their registers don't allow more than that?)

Marcie you can always make several trips into the store. LOL Do you know if they sell household and grogery items?
Thanks.

I contacted Kmart, and they confirmed that Georgia stores are participating in the double coupons. My husband works for Sears Holdings, so combine the double coupons with his store discount, and we should get some sweet deals!

Missouri is finally participating again, but with a limit of 10 coupons, I doubt I'll make the 1.5 hour round trip drive.

What do you think they mean by copies of manufacturer's coupons? Photocopies or multiples? It's very strangely worded.

I just received a response from customer service, k-mart policy states that they do accept internet printed manufacturer coupons as long as they will scan at the register.

Tara-

Do you know if Ohio stores are participating? Also, there aren't very many Kmart stores around Columbus...do you normally partake in their double coupon days? Are most of them similar to our Greatland Targets where there are a few aisles of food but not much? Just wondering since I've never been in a Kmart here in Columbus :)

All Maryland stores are participating this time as well! Thanks for the heads up :)

Brandy, I believe the Columbus stores are participating, but I haven't taken part in any. Our closest stores leaves much to be desired in the way of customer service and cleanliness, and double coupons just don't go far enough to win me back.

I'm not aware of any Super Kmarts around here that have the full grocery. It's too bad. The one in Mansfield used to be my favorite store to shop at.

Our Kmart in Bloomingdale, Illinois has participated the past few times, cant wait to save some more!

Reply

22 Marcie June 3, 2009 at 10:42 pm

ALL Kmarts in ILLINOIS are holding the event (at least that is what my email from corporate states)

As far as going in and out of the store I am still really bummed because I always used the $5 off $50 coupon which if I can only use 10 coupons I will not get to $50 - oh well, I guess I shouldn't complain!
Bobbie, the Kmart I go to sells household and some grocery, but not much - it is just a regular Kmart, not a Big K

Thanks Marcie for the info. I called our local Kmart and they told me they did. It just opened recently so maybe they will carry more. Also corporate said all Alabama stores were going to be doubling the coupons.
Thanks again!

When the coupon is doubled and it is more than the item i know you said it would be free? if the item is $1.50 and the coupon equals out to be $1.60 do they take the $1.50 off instead of $1.50? Thanks for your help! I hope that wasn't confusing I haven't dome double coupons at K-mart before. Angie

Reply

29 Bridget June 4, 2009 at 9:55 am

Angela- if the item is $1.60 and the coupon is for $1.50, they will "double" your coupon only enough to cover the cost of the item, so you would get the item free, but not get overage. They would take off $1.60, not the full $3 (doubled).

I will probably go, only because there were several items I can get for free or almost free. I usually don't shop at KMart because they aren't always friendly and not always clean. But for free, I can deal with it.

Here is a really stupid question, but since all MI stores are participating will that include ones with Grocery, there is only one near me (and near is a lose term). I dont want to drive all that way and find out its not good on grocery. Im also really excited because of the $2 off 1 Axe will double to $4 which will mean cheap shampoo for my younger brother who lives with me.

I was just on the Kmart website and there was a section called Coupon Center, it linked up with coupons.com on some of there coupons. I would assume this means now Kmart takes internet coupons for those who asked otherwise why would you be able to print them.

All Virginia stores are participating!
This is the response I got about printable coupons...
Kmart's Print-at-Home Internet Coupon Acceptance Policy:
Effective March 1, 2009 , Kmart will accept industry-standard, secure
print-at-home coupons. This will provide additional benefits and
incentives to our customers to help them save their money at Kmart.
Kmart can only accept print-at-home coupons if they scan properly at
checkout. Legitimate printable coupons are delivered using special
software designed to print a properly rendered barcode on the coupon and
limit the number of coupons printed. If the coupon dos not scan properly
it cannot be accepted Kmart will not accept coupons for more than about
75% of a product's value. For example, a $2 off coupon for a product
that sells for $2.25 is unlikely to be legitimate. If there are
exceptions, Kmart is usually provided advance notice by the
manufacturer. Coupons will be rejected if they appear distorted or
blurry, altered in any way, or are obvious duplicates. Kmart will not
accept " FREE product" (no purchase required) print-at-home coupons. It
is currently an industry practice not to produce print-at-home
manufacturer's coupons for free product. Buy-one-get-one-free coupons
and other values that have a purchase requirement are acceptable.

I got an original email from corporate and they stated that ALL stores in VA are participating and that they accept internet coupons. So, I emailed back and asked since they accept them, than will they be able to be doubled during the event as well. I then got an email back stating sorry for the confusion, but only 3 K-marts are participating in VA and that internet coupons are for face value ONLY, they do not double. So, my question is this, if they scan correctly and I have the original email stating they are accepted, then will they still double them?

I take my 14yo with me when they try to limit the amount of anything per day that a person can buy.
Example: I would go first with my 10 coupons, then she checks out next with "her" 10 coupons.

My local K-Mart in Fitchburg, MA is advertising double coupons including $2.00 ones; however, there is a problem. There registers are not doubling them. I had to wait 20 minutes for a manager to verify my coupons, return and rering my purchases before I received a refund of $8.60. Shopping there was a waste of my time.

12:30PM Tuesday, June 9, 09, I ventured out "sick" to do my Kmart deals. I went to this rinky dink store that had very few of the items that I was looking for and the prices on most were a lot higher. Isn't all Kmart stores the same in price? I should have known when the cashier said you're the first person that has ask for double rebates that something was not quite right. LOL Well a manager had to come do that. She didn't double my .75 on my mustart and kept my coupon on Al Steak sauce. So that will be going back to the store for a refund and hopefuly I can get my extra .74 on the mustard. It was not a good day for me.
