Hello Everyone,

Kmart will not double any coupons they supply???? Does not make sense to me, the double coupon event is pointless if they do not double their own coupons, They do not like their customers, they hate lowering their prices, and they are very disturbed if you find a great deal with a coupon.

I hate KMART! Double day's point is to find great deals, but they somehow manage to make sure you don't get the deal you want.

DO NOT PICK UP ANY STORE COUPONS!! Such a rip off!!!

I sent an email to K-Mart Customer service and here is what they sent back to me. The way I read this is that your items need to total $25 BEFORE coupons or tax. Hope this helps.

Here's the email response:

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for contacting Kmart regarding the Double Coupon Event. We appreciate your interest in this promotion.

This event is for select participating Kmart locations from 07/05-07/11 for coupons up to $2 with purchase of $25 or more in grocery and drugstore merchandise. Grocery and drugstore items include: all food items, health & beauty, baby diapers, household cleaning supplies, detergents, paper goods, shampoos and other beauty items, over the counter medicines such as Tylenol, aspirin, etc. The $25 minimum is before tax and coupons.

Participating stores only. Amount of credit from doubling a coupon cannot exceed the current retail price of a single item. No cash or in-store purchase credit will be awarded for any amount exceeding the retail price of the item. Limit 1 coupon for each item purchased. Only
1 coupon will be doubled per item. You may only purchase 4 of the same item using double coupons. Excludes Buy One, Get One offers, Kmart Savings coupons and Kmart Store coupons. Coupons do not apply to sales tax. Limit 10 coupons per customer per day. Additional coupons will be honored, just not doubled. The customer should choose which 10 they would like doubled.

Offer excludes products prohibited by law, including but not limited to alcohol, tobacco, and prescription medication. Not valid on non-merchandise, federal or state regulated items, prior purchases, Lands? End, Sears merchandise rung on Sears registers within Kmart and kmart.com. In the event of a return, coupon savings may be deducted from the refund. Exclusions apply. Please see store associate for details. Sears Holdings (Kmart) reserves the right to modify or cancel this program at any time.

Emilie, as I understand it, you just have to spend $25 on grocery or drug items before your coupons are applied, but it's kind of vague so I wonder if stores will interpret it in different ways. I'm just walking out the door, but I'll try to remember to email customer service tonight and get clarification. If someone else gets an answer in the meantime, please post it.

So to understand...I can buy $25 of merchandise, use coupons on all of it, and end up spending $5? They aren't saying we have to spend a minimum of $25 before being able to buy items with coupons - right?

It means that coupons that have been photocopied are not to be used, that can get you in trouble as they have a way of tracking down where they were copied from. The last time they had that sale here in MI they double coupons up to $4. making $8 savings, but they didn't know if they would do that again. That was not what was advertised but thats what one store in particular did. I have used the IP coupons and that seems to be fine. Thanks a lot for all the work others do for this sight!!

my store in Idaho said that they DO accept IP coupons. I'm not sure what "copies of manuf. coupons" means tho from above. Last time there was a double event, ID didn't participate. :( So I'm not getting my hopes up this time either

$2 printable up at coupons.com for Scott long lasting towels 4 pack. These are 2 for $11/$5.50 = $1.50 each after doubled coupons and they count toward the Kimberly Clark / Unilever Catalina Deal.
