Summer cookouts are always a favorite for entertaining family and friends. If you’ve been hesitant to include grilled pork on your menu in the past because of confusion around how to ensure it’s cooked properly, I’ve got fantastic news for you!
The National Pork Board recently renamed many of the cuts of pork at the grocery store to make them more inline with their equivalent cuts of steak -– so a pork chop would now be a pork porterhouse chop or pork ribeye chop. They’ve also included basic usage and preparation information right on the package.
If you’re looking for a tasty grilled pork recipe, give these Grilled Lemon-Basil Pork Chops with Lemon Basil Orzo a try. At under $10 for the recipe, they’re a delicious and budget-friendly option!
I’m super excited to be hosting a National Pork Board #GrillPorkLikeASteak Twitter Party this Thursday afternoon with @AllAboutPork to talk about how to save money by choosing pork, family friendly grilling dishes and various helpful meal planning ideas.
