But what sets the site apart is that all features are fully searchable making it easy to find the specific information you're seeking! Registration isn't necessary to use the site, but you get some great additional features when you register like the ability to send ecards and upload an unlimited number of milestones to keep your family and friends informed about your announcements.

I love that you can share photos and that it was easy to navigate...very user friendly, thanks.

17 Paula Harmon July 6, 2009 at 6:37 am

I think this is a cool idea. I don't know why, but using my city and state didn't work, but just using my zip i found things for my city.
I saw one military event for my area, and the rest were all obituaries, I would have like to see more good news, like birth announcements, or weddings, etc...I guess I will have to add some events!

18 Paula Harmon July 6, 2009 at 6:38 am

I registered at Xtra Xtra.

24 Jennifer Snider July 6, 2009 at 8:52 am

Loved the website it was easy to navigate through and loved all the information regarding my zip code. It was a great read especially during those slow times at work! :o)

25 Geoff K July 6, 2009 at 8:53 am

I found the site very easy to navigate, though one problem I had was when I just typed in my zip code, no milestones appeared -- only when I typed in my city and state did they come up. It would also be great if the milestone listings could have thumbnails of the accompanying photos (instead of just seeing the photos when clicking on the full milestone page). I liked that the page for my city also included helpful info, like the weather forecast and links to local news stories. Thanks for introducing me to the site - and for this giveaway!

34 Katie (Young Saver) July 6, 2009 at 10:00 am

What a great website! It's cute and informative. It is also super accurate to my small town, which is surprising! As a college student, I really like how you can look at a specific college page for news. Thanks for telling me all about it! :D

I have been subscriber to Deal Seeking Mom on my Google Reader for a month or so now, it's been a great resource to help my mom out with paying for the large amount of items my six person family needs. Thank you, again, for such an amazingly helpful website.

I looked at the site, checked out what was reported for my zip, but couldn't find any faq's. Does it cost anything to post your events on this site?
