Several years ago I declared my love for the Swiffer Sweeper+Vac; however, as time marched on, our relationship turned a little sour. A full charge wasn't giving me enough juice to cover my enter kitchen, let alone the entire first floor once we ripped up all of our carpeting to make way for bamboo laminate. I've tried other floor vacs, but they ultimately didn't live up to my high expectations.
So when Walmart asked if I'd be interested in giving the new Dyson DC35 Digital Slim Cordless Vacuum a try, my reply was a resounding, "YES!" This thing is nothing short of amazing, but I'll let you check out this video for now. (And just maybe one of you will get to test drive one of these babies soon, too!)
So what are your thoughts on the latest technology from Dyson?

did she say 15 of 50? we have all hard wood floors and it takes about 30-45 mins to do our whole house. with even a broom and a swifer... id hope that the battery is more than 15 mins.
I checked out the Dyson website ---- 15 minutes is al the charge lasts. This baby costs $299.99. We had the cordless hand vac that looks exactly like this without the floor attachment thinking it would be great for our cars. Not so much. Sold it at a garage sale for $50 last summer. I'll stick with my $30 broom vac, thanks. But I still love my Dyson Animal.
I have all hardwoods as well couple big carpets. May ask what you use to clean your floors that you like. This Dyson is not for me either takes way longer than 15 minutes maybe for one room.
Dyson makes some great stuff.
Please walmart send me one!!!!!!
I would love to use this on my steps instead of lugging my heavy vacuum up and down! I would be happy with just that function!
I will never buy another cordless ANYTHING again. They just don't have the life I need.
This looks GREAT!! I can't wait to try one! The folks at Dyson are super ingenious.
15 minutes is WAY too short!
how do you become a participant in the Walmart Moms program?
My floors are dying for this DY'ing.... ;)
I have been seen the commercial for these and I really want to get one.
I have had my eye on these since the first television ad I saw. Looks awesome!
looks great, especially since mopping is the least of my favorite chores lol..
I LOVE Dyson!!!! We have the original yellow vacuum cleaner, & it works great! Never had a more efficient vacuum.
I love my OLD dyson! The new one looks very cool!
How do you become a Walmart mom?? Do you have to have a blog??
I love dyson! They really do deliver with their products.
Thanks
Sounds really good. As I get older, I'm looking for more light weight appliances. . I wonder how long it takes to recharge???
I would love this!
That looks AWESOME!! I wouldn't care if she did say 15 mins at this point it's better than anything I'm dragging around now or the broom ;) I have the black and decker broom vac and it stinks. I honestly haven't used it in a few years because it's pointless, LOL!
15 minutes is way longer than my current handheld dyson, it's battery life is only 6 minutes. I love it but the battery is the issue. I would love to have the battery life of this one and the more options it has.
Looks like a great product!
RE the Swiffer - I still love mine. and, I found the air filters half price at Publix (the discontinued rack) a few weeks ago, and finally changed mine out. It made a huge difference. My Swiffer vac. is going on 5 years and it is running better than ever!! Probably still one of my favorite appliances.
It would be awesome if the battery life was longer than 15 mins. I have a DC17 Animal and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I would like to give this new Dyson a try though.
I bought one of those CVS "As seen on TV" battery sweepers and I call it our "flowbie" it's great for our tiny little temporary townhouses' wood floors but I have to detangle long hair out of it's brushes a little too often, and I cannot use it around my 20 month old son who INSISTS that "me do" so I'd love to whirl this guy around for a trial-how do I get on board with that goodness? I would send videos of Zack using it-that would be precious!
I have a Dyson DC-18 Slim which they no longer carry. There isn't much difference other than mine can't go into a hand held vacuum and it doesn't have a battery. I think the new DC-35 is great, but not for $300.00. Also in reading the reviews, I think it would be better if you could use it plugged in or not; making it more versatile.
I would love to have a Dyson fan though (without the blades). Those are pretty awesome. :)
I love the idea that it can be used all over the house and in the car, etc...it would really eliminate a lot of other cleaning tools I use. Looks like another awesome product from Dyson!
Would love the opportunity to take it for a test run!!!
I am in love with th Dyson line..... LOVE LOVE LOVE
I would love to try one of these out! I have tried about three other brands of cordless vacs and they all died in just a few uses! Would love the quality of a Dyson in a cordless!
This might actually make me Want to clean the kitchen floor! Lol. I am curious what the recharge time is on it. :)
simply wow!!!
I've always wanted to try a Dyson, and have really been thinking about getting something that I could use for quick clean-ups in the kitchen. My little one is always leaving crumbs! Looks like this would be perfect with the long handle so you don't have to crawl around on the floor!
I already have a Dyson with yellow ball but would love to try this out since my current cordless vac is on its last leg.
I babysit, plus have four kids of my own, so needless to say, I do a LOT of sweeping...
I would love to find a more efficient way of cleaning, not to mention something my kids could help with. They aren't the best with a broom and dust pan. Lol.
P.S. How do you become a Walmart Mom?
I have wanted one since I've seen the commercial. They look so awesome!
I actually have this and it is Awesome! It works as good as a reg. vacuum and it lasts longer than 15 minutes. I love how it converts to a shorter model for stairs and corners. This was my first Dyson purchase (we have all hardwood floors) and I am hooked.
Sorry, I meant to answer your questions about joining the Walmart Moms previously, and I just realized that I didn't while writing my latest post.
Walmart approached me about joining the program as a blogger several years ago when they initially introduced it. There is no application process currently, but if they ever open it up to other bloggers or moms, you all will definitely be the first to know!
I would love to try the new dyson. I have the red one and I bought the dyson ball for my daughter for a wedding gift. I love the fact it is cordless and the power a dyson has. I'am disabled and think it would be perfect for what I can physically do.I would love to see what it does on stairs and hardwood.
