You could also throw in a couple of cheap items like candy bars ( if you have the free candy q's or the $1/2 from a couple of weeks ago)and use a $4/$20 q from the coupon book that are being given out at the pharmacy to knock your price down even more.

How do you save $1.50 into your Upromise account? I have an account I opened last month with them. I clicked on the link provided and it takes me to Upromise's website. Is there a printable coupon I would take to the store or does it contribute automatically using the credit card info I entered?

Lori, click on eCoupons on the Upromise site. If you have a store in your area that is part of the eCoupon offerings, you can add them to your store loyalty card. The eCoupons will be deposited into your account when you purchase the indicated item(s).

I joined real deals for real mothers to enter the contest for the free laptop for my son for Christmas. I hope it pays off. Please say a prayer. Thanks, Linda Patterson
