How does the Target Mobile coupons work? I signed up for this but unsure how to use it. Do they give you a link to download a program?

Just got my texted coupons last Sunday. I sent it to my email. When I clicked on the link in my email I got a message saying "unavailable...try back later". I noticed some of the web address was missing on my email that I saw on my phone. I inputted the missing part and it brought me right to my coupons. I think that happened last time, too, so try, try again until you suceed!

I haven't had much luck yet either. I read from the site I think that it only comes once or twice a month, but no more than that. I'm going to try what Pam said and send it to my computer to finish the process as I've not gotten the barcode part to work yet. I get the text but that's it. I wrote customer service and they told me it should be working. I didn't think to email myself and go from there! Thanks!! :)

The last two Mobile Qs I got on 2/14 and 2/21...and no more after that. Maybe Target is training their employee, either the cashiers has no idea or they were unable to scan it :(

Mandi, my project administrator is actually the one that received that particular text. But I just checked my phone, and I see that I haven't received a text for the past two weeks either. I was under the impression they're supposed to be weekly, so I'm not sure why she got it and I didn't. :(

I just got an email back from Target. They said "Coupons are sent out as they’re available but no more than once per week. Currently we are sending out approximately one text per month."
So Tara, are you saying you recieved a text this last Sunday with the Kraft and Planters, etc??

Hi there. If you like Cardstar you will love CardKing. Over 1100 merchants, three times as many as Cardstar. And CardKing has a red laser scanner that can scan the barcodes on your rewards card so you do NOT have to enter the numbers on your cards, for 3Gs iPhones. You don't have to go to the internet on your phone to use the coupon. Just do what I did that I posted earlier, send the text from your phone to your email thats on a computer with internet and click on the link there to open it and just print it out. So far the only time we have been able to stack it with a manu for a great deal was the first one. I have AT&T and I text to email and email to text all the time. You just have to send to "new email address" rather than selecting a phone number in your address book. It's that simple.

I havent gotten a text the last 2 Sundays, I see Kristen has the same problem, anyone else not getting the last two also? So I only got one so far, I dont have a data plan, only a texting plan. I still got the the first one and texted it to my email and then printed it out, brought it to Crystal Target and used it sucessfully (even tho cashier never saw one before). I am really bummed out I havent gotten them since. Anyone else?

It hasnt worked for me.. tried it one time and cashier looked at me all crazy and said it has to be a printed coupon cuz otherwise she wont have anything to put in her drawer..? Sooo I showed her the directions for cashiers where it says cashier should scan it off my phone.. she didnt want to at first, then tried and it didnt work.. so I was sent to customer service. They werent sure what to do either, I suggested they follow the instructions and either scan it or enter the code manually.. they did and it took $0.00 off...? How weird. Anyways I think when Target comes up with things like that they do need to make sure their cashiers are aware of that because neither one of them knew anything about target mobile coupons.

Basically the text message comes with a link that you click on to display the coupons. You just pull them up on your phone at the checkout and they will scan them. They're Target store coupons, so you can stack them with manufacturer's coupons as usual.

i just signed up for this.....so you have to have your phone with you & they scan it?? So you need to keep the text message I take it. I'm wondering how this will show up on my phone, I don't have any fancy app stuff, just regular text messaging. Guess we wait & see! And then it's a one time use thing or what? And can you use mfg coupons along w/ the scanned ones?
