I make my 3 year olds food "pretty". I make little shapes, or smiley faces, and he thinks its funny to destroy it while he's eating!

Make food fun for your kids! Play with your food! I always tell my son to pretend that broccoli are little trees and mini carrots are little cars that drive around (and if sometimes they drive right into his mouth then its totally worth it!) My husband likes to pretend that carrots give our son super-powered sight... And as always dips help everything!

For my 2.5-yr-old nephew.... zone him out with a Thomas & Friends episode and he'll eat anything we put in his mouth!!

Believe it or not my kid will eat anything as long as their is brocoli involved so not to bad but brocoli everynight gets boring to me

We make up silly names for foods...or we will tell our kids how good whatever they are eating is for there body. for some reason those two things seem to work.

My mom taught me that if you cut something up fine enough, no one will know that it's in it. I used this philosophy with my ulta-picky son. He loved brown and wild rice, but hated meat. I used my food grinder and chopped the daylights out of the meat before mixing it into his rice. He never knew it was in there.

I try and put veggies out to snack on while I start cooking dinner/ 9/10 times my 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 year old have gobbled all of the veggies up by the time dinner is ready!

LOOOVE these Dole cups!!...almost more than my kids, I think...hehe.

Sometimes we use fun names for food too...also, my brother-in-law introduced us to the "man bite". WE make a it a really big deal when my son takes "man bites"....like it makes him masculine! SO funny!! But it works!

FUN names! We introduce new foods with funny names. 'Magic rice' is sticky rice.......... 'Pickle sticks' are cucumber cut length wise (my son loves pickles...) LOL! He's 2.5 and falls for it every time ;)

One way is to let them help prepare the food. Although it is a little trying on my OCD nerves, the clean up is worth it in the end because they have eaten something nutritious.

Also, I agree with Jennifer, give them something to dip the food into. It always makes it fun even for girls.

Another thing for little girls...tea parties. Even at the regular dinner table, have their very own tea set. These dishes will seem so much more their size yet more special than the rest of the family. This way they can eat extra helping and it can be fun while, hopefully, learning good table etiquette, ie elbows off the table, napkin in lap, feet on the floor-not under toosh.

Ranch dressing. Ranch dressing on or in almost anything worked. Now, at 4, he mostly forgets to add the ranch and just eats his vegetables and salads.

I'm always confused on how many coupons I can use on one item. I get them out of the paper, internet, peelies etc. Are you allowed to use an internet and a paper one together? Can you use two of the same coupon on an item? If anyone can clear this up for me, that would be great.
