Good to know, I'll see what I can do for mine. It would pain me to delete all that work too and it's fun to look back on that stuff. For now I'm just putting a little "expired" notice at the top. Thanks for the info on excluding certain posts from that!

I don't delete old posts because I know readers like to refer back to them often, but I've devised a system so I can exclude posts from the related posts if they're not valid offers anymore. I have to do this manually though, and sometimes they do slip by me, so I appreciate a friendly heads up when that happens.

Love your blog and deals! I have wondered about the related posts thing on my blog too. I think the service I use stores them somehow and so even if I deleted the posts they'd still post them as related. I use Link Within on my blog http://housewifehacks.com. Does your service stop posting stuff as related if you delete the post?

Virginia, the related posts are usually older posts, but I try to ensure that the offers are still valid. They're not a way to make the blog longer -- they're just to provide links to deals for my new readers or readers that may have missed them the first time around.

I don't understand these "related posts". They seem to be only old sites and the coupons often are not available any longer. Are they just a way to make the blog longer, or am I missing something?
