Wal-Mart in Manassas, VA told me today that they did not accept internet coupons due to fraud, mostly people using the coupons and then returning the merchandise for full price. I do not see how this is any different than a coupon out of the paper, and is contradictory to the Corporate Coupon Policy. I argued for 20 minutes, produced a copy of their coupon policy and then the issue was that what I was purchasing was not included in the items pictured on the coupon. So frustrating, and left a full basket and $130.oo worth of bagged merchandise in the checkout isle. It is too late to call Corporate today, but I will Monday.

This is a new frustrating trend in my area (Eugene, OR) as well. Many stores including Winco, Shopko and others have refused my internet coupons!

Kudos to Wal-Mart, Rite-Aid (in my area), Walgreen's, Albertson's for accepting internet coupons.

These stores need to figure out a system to deal with this new coupon trend as many manufacturers are moving to internet coupons because they can virtually create them for free as the consumer has to print them!

I called Corporate and explained the whole situation from this afternoon and they stated that it is the ENTIRE Wal-Mart corporations policy to accept internet coupons in accordance with the Corporate Coupon Policy and that individual stores are not free to create their own policy. I suggest having various corporation customer service numbers in your phone in case issues arise in the future. I am going back tomorrow armed with the coupon policy printed directly from the website and my coupons and WILL walk out with my merchandise.

i had problems today at my loves park, il, walgreens. They would not take my manfacture coupon because it had the Target logo on it. What gives? Was i wrong in trying to get them to accept it? the manager said they get at least $20.00 amonth that the corporate won't accept because of the Target logo.
