As you can imagine, laundry is a never-ending chore around here with five active kids. all® Small & Mighty® laundry detergent is one of my preferred brands, and I love the convenience the new 96-load bottle. Of course it doesn’t last anywhere close to six months around here, but I appreciate the ease of dispensing it and its stain-fighting capabilities!
Two Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a coupon for a free bottle of all® Small & Mighty® 3x Concentrate (up to $6.50)! These would be great to hold onto until the next BOGO sale at CVS so that you can get TWO free bottles of detergent!
To enter, leave me a comment with your best money-saving laundry tip.
Here’s a little tip from me to you — I can generally find a better price on the smaller bottles of All Small & Mighty, so I save my larger 96-load bottle and refill it with them!

To make sure I get the most for my money, I am very careful about not using more detergent than it necessary. The fill line is often not even half of the lid, but it is very easy to fill it well past the necessary amount!

I use Oxiclean Clean and wash my clothes in cold water.

I always wait for the great sales and use the coupons. I also watch really closely on how much I fill the detergent up in the little lid, I don’t want to use too much. I try to do laundry only once a week, but with 5 in the house that is really hard!

My daughter (like most kids) has a gift for collecting stains on her clothes. OxyClean, Shout, and other stain removers are always on stock in our house. Before I switched to Purex 3-in-1 laundry sheets, my basic system would be to dissolve OxyClean into the pre-soak cycle and then add 2/3 the amount of detergent as directed. Worked like a charm and I was able to squeeze extra loads out of my detergent bottles.

We wash all loads in cold water, and I use coupons to buy all detergent. I try to have a small stockpile going until the next round of detergent coupons come out. Otherwise, laundry soap is a major budget buster..

Pretty much down to the wire, and I just found it! LOL! :)
My BEST Laundry Money saving is that when washing my husband’s shirts (he sweats a lot) or my dd underwear (potty training) I put vinegar in my bounce ball to take out the smell. Works like a charm!

My best laundry saving tip would be to not use as much as the container says to use. I know that my clothes are still getting clean, but in the end, I stretch each bottle further. I always wait for BOGO sales, to really maximize my budget as well!

I am not picky about the laundry soap I use. I often wait for more pricy soaps to go on sale BOGOF then use a coupon.

I always use the cheap detergent, I would like to try the more expensive detergent; to see if there is a difference
Rebecca
