Do you know if I could use this pass & see their in-house optician? I used to go to Costco, but haven’t renewed since I’m getting such great deals elsewhere. I did however, use the optician since their prices were great. I need an eye exam and contacts pretty soon! Thanks for your tips Tara.
Gosh, I don’t know. It seems like you should be able to take advantage of all of their services on the day you use it. Perhaps you could call your local store and ask.
The “no strings” isn’t without strings. They’ll charge an extra 10% for your purchases. Although they don’t tell you this. When I complained they said “I thought everyone knew this”. I bought $20 worth of merchandise, and was charged an extra $4.00 for it!
Sally, usually the coupons state that there’s an additional 10% surcharge, but this one does not. As it does not explicitly say this, I would request a manager if they try to charge it.
Ugh!!! They totally charged me the upcharge, even though I tried to argue it with a manager! I made the mistake of bringing only the pass, and not the rest of the paper that states “No Upcharge.” Make sure you bring the entire print out if you try to take advantage of this. I was forced to buy a membership ($40) rather than pay the upcharge (we bought a mattress, so it was an extra $60!). Now I have to go back and try to argue this to get my money back, because I don’t really want a membership to a place with such lousy customer service.
Good deal? Are you kidding? I spent two hours in the store and loaded up my basket only to find that they were going to charge 10% of my purchases if I did not join. If I had any savings by going to Sam’s, which is debatable, it was going to be eaten up by the 10% fee. I feel so stupid for wasting a Saturday afternoon in traffic and in a crowded Sam’s for nothing.

The pharmacy is open to the public. You don’t need the membership. I’m pretty sure that goes for the pharmacy too. Give them a call!

Whoops….I mean….I think the optician is open to the public as well!

It says ‘No upcharge’ right at the top! Hope that helps.
