When I went to my local Walgreens (So Cal) the checker called the manager over after the coupon made the price zero and said "I have to check with someone before I accept this." The manager came over and said that he was going to pull the stock from the shelves and put it in the back because the coupon was not intented for this size, and this would make higher prices for everyone. I nicely said that I was following the instructions on the coupon. Perhaps that is why some stores don't have this size. The manager acted like I was a criminal for using the coupon. It was interesting.

I went to Walgreens one one side of my city today and used the coupon and 8 bags then I went down town to get a few more and the manager said he is deciding not to use the coupon on this item. I didn't know they can pick and choose what to use their own store coupons on. ??? Not a nice experience.

Because you were being greedy! Get your limit, then leave some for someone else. EVERYONE likes deals as much as you. :)

8 is not that many, At least not in my case. My store had 2 rows that each had at least 6 boxes of them. Each box looks like it easily holds 20 bags if not more.

Greedy? In my opinion greedy is when you try to get 20+ bags at one store she only got 8 bags at one store!

The coupon worked for me yesterday (I bought 4 bags for my boys), but not today at two different Walgreens. Cashier just said that coupon was not intended for the smaller size. Of course when I said that the coupon does not have a size restriction I got the evil eye. I didn't want the hassle so I left the store.

I was at Walgreen's today and heard the clerks talking that someone came in and tried to buy 40 bags........they would not let them buy that many.

They wouldn't let me purchase this size with the coupon either:( They said although the coupon did not specify the size, the picture shows the large bag.

I had 2 bags. Cecker called the manage, he said coupon was not intended for the smaller size. Of course when I said that the coupon does not have a size restriction, he said although the coupon did not specify the size, the picture shows the large bag.
