offer isn't good anymore I presume.. after fighting with my phone to spell PRUEBA in spanish the message I got was;

Works fine. Via text, it will first ask for your age, then your zip code, then your street address, and finally your name. The last request is to respond with s (si/yes) or n (no) to confirm the address data you have entered. I had no issues with this, and haven't been to Spanish class for about 26 years. Wow - that's pretty freakin' depressing, eh? The final response will tell you that it should arrive in 4-6 weeks.

I sure hope this works and everything is legit. Can anyone let me know more about this? I just called and got one for me and another person, so I definitely don't want someone to steal their identity, because I signed them up for a free razor! Ahhhh! I did this before I saw the other emails about identity theft. The reason I am asking is because I got scammed on a Dazzle White website a few months ago. Crazy! Hopefully, it's all okay. I hope......

It is definitely worth registering with the website to avoid all of the Spanish confusion. They just text you back for your age and then again for the state. I didn't use my first name, just J. Guess if they want to find me they can, but they don't ask for anything we haven't already put on a thousand other websites to get coupons and freebies. My text said my razor would be 6-8 weeks, so I guess we will wait and see if it comes.

How do you know who the offer is sponsored by? Any information given to them would have to go through ShopText, so surely ShopText has vetted the offer.

Well I hope this is not a scam! SHOP TEXT has a website (htts - secure?). I received the same free razor months ago but don't remember if it was through Shop Text or not? If someone really wants your idenity with the info given to shop text all they have to do is look in a phone book and or on the internet. It isn't like your name isn't all ready out there everywhere. Name, address and phone numbers are not secret.

My brother works in the identity theft recovery field and he confirmed that this offer is indeed sponsored by a group that steals identities and ruins credit scores. Anyone who gave their information to this group would do well to get a free credit report about a month from now because that's usually about how long it will take them to piece together enough information to open up credit accounts in your name. This will turn out to be a very expensive free razor for those that choose to ignore these warnings.

They blocked access because this particular ShopText exposes you to the Mexican crime syndicate that is behind the attempt to mine your data. They didn't say anything bad about ShopText, they warned about giving the Mexicans your information.

That's pretty strange. I've been using ShopText for well over a year, and I've never had any problems with receiving my samples or with spam texts.

The phone message doesn't sound legit to me. Why would a company like P&G have someone who you can barely understand doing the prompts for a promo? Does anyone know for sure it this is legitimate? Some on another site said that when she listened to the terms and conditions (what she could understand), she heard that there is a charge to your phone for the service.

I just did it and it went through fine. I have been doing shop text since they had the Campbells Chunky soup coupon, and I know that had to be over a year ago. I haven gotten everything I ever text for, unless I got a response back saying they were already out. I also text in a UPC for Clearasil once and got a free clearasil acne roller pen.

all you that are having a hard time with the spanish, google spanish to english translator. they have them online and you type in the spanish and it will translate it for you.
