i just called my local store. The rep stated that it had to be a facial wash. When I pointed out to her that the add said skincare product, not specifically facial wash, she was surprised and said it would be a good idea to bring in the add from facebook.
just an FYI

It doesn’t have to be empty. It can be a full or partially used product. I just got back from getting mine at an Origins store. I turned in an almost empty face wash, but you should be able to turn in any kind of skincare product. Somebody online said that they called a store and they even said you could turn in foundation.

Origins posting on facebook says “Just bring in your current skincare products (full or empty) to any Origins store and we’ll trade if for a FULL-SIZE of one of our gentle, high-performance cleansers.”

I went to my Macy’s store in Annapolis MD and they refused the exchange. They would not do it unless I made a purchase. I told them I didnt have to make a purchase for it and I was then told well the Manager said that unless you can PROVE that you dont have to make a purchase to get the item for an exchange then we arent doing it. My ipod was on the fritz and I had not access to internet to get the info – isnt that a load of crap! Shame on you at Macy’s!
