Dockers Khaki and Red PantsYou may have seen the Dockers Men Without Pants commercial during the Super Bowl. It was all about men stepping up and wearing the pants - even though they weren't!

This is how it works: prove that men ARE wearing the pants and that #chivalryisnotdead - especially on Valentine's Day. Leave a comment (and if possible, link to a pic) about what your guy did for you on Valentine's Day and I will select 5 winners at random to receive a free pair of khakis!

You have to post by noon tomorrow (2/15), so don't delay!

On Valentine’s Day, my dear husband got up and made me breakfast in bed–it was wonderful–he had even found my favorite bakery and brought me my favorite pastries(he’s never actually been there–he had to ask my best friend where it was located–it’s in the basement of a huge office building–they really only sell to restaurants–but if you go in they will sell you a few items–but it is so not him to be adventurous)
It was extra sweet of him because he is on a new diet from his Dr –that allows no sweets.

My husband didn't do anything to show me that chivalry is not dead but that doesn't mean he doesn't need a new pair of pants :D

My boyfriend and I celebrated on Saturday (due to a family event scheduled on Sunday), and the day began with a little breakfast (he ran out for bagel sandwiches and coffee while I stayed in bed). He surprised me with a dozen gorgeous white roses, and a beautiful silver and diamond necklace. We went out to see Wolfman and then lunch at TGIFridays afterwards. It was a really sweet day and we both had lots of fun. Thanks!!

:-)

9 Roxann February 16, 2010 at 7:49 am

My husband bought me a beautiful card and gave me candy and a teddy bear. He also let me sleep in but he always does that on his days off. He is the best.

10 PAMI February 16, 2010 at 7:50 am

He took me shopping! Not just regular shopping but to the local outlet center!!!! I didn't want roses- I wanted something I could wear!!!!

11 Rosey February 16, 2010 at 8:09 am

My husband took me and the kids out for a great dinner. Our oldest, who was visiting for a week, brought his girl home to meet the family. On V. Day, he went into the room where she was sleeping and slipped a ring on her finger. It was pretty romantic.

12 Veronica Garrett February 16, 2010 at 8:14 am

My husband drew me a hot, bubbly bubble bath and fixed me a romantic dinner.

13 Tracey Byram February 16, 2010 at 8:18 am

16 Jill L February 16, 2010 at 8:43 am

My husband bought me one of the nicest cards that said it all and bought me Lemonheads, my favorite. I didn't want him spending money we don't have on flowers or anything else. It would have just stressed me out. What he did was perfect.

17 Cristine February 16, 2010 at 8:44 am

My husband made me heart shaped pancakes

18 KendraLyn February 16, 2010 at 8:45 am

He cooked all my favorite foods (steak, baked potato, corn, spinach salad and cookies), and he brought me flowers (he had me convinced he wouldn't do flowers on V day) and chocolate and a card! It was so sweet! P.S.- He really needs a pair of khakis!

19 karen February 16, 2010 at 8:51 am

He always buy me flowers and included a box of chocolates. He also bought me and my son a card this year for Valentine's.

20 Marie R February 16, 2010 at 9:03 am

My husband let me sleep in while he and my 20 month old son made me banana pancakes, sausage and bacon.

21 Moriah February 16, 2010 at 9:12 am

My husband and I dont celebrate Valentine's day. However, he helped me out by shoveling the driveway, vacumming and mopping the floors, and (finally) shaving off his beard! All this meant that we were able to get the chores done a lot faster and sit down to enjoy the rest of our Sunday. I definately think all that is so much better than roses and chocolates and it certainly derserves a new pair of pants!!

22 Nanette Olson February 16, 2010 at 9:15 am

He took me out for dinner at a nice restaurant and he did open the door for me.

23 Amanda February 16, 2010 at 9:23 am

I wasn't feeling well, and he took care of our son all day while I took at 4 hour nap and lazed around. Also, he always opens the door for me, frequently warms up the car, and doesn't go more than a couple months without bringing me flowers. Wow...sounds like I'm bragging, but I just like him :)

24 Connie Corey February 16, 2010 at 9:28 am

Even though dh's mom had a stroke late last week, he still got me 18 long stem roses! Even better, he brought them in the house and hid them, then set them up in a vase after I went to bed so I found them in the morning! What a wonderful surprise!

25 Wendy McBride February 16, 2010 at 9:30 am

My husband gave me a nice homemade meal and he is working on our home. He always gives me compliments and kisses.

We don't get a lot of snow & ice in our area, but we did this weekend. He made sure to clear the sidewalk so that we would be safe.

27 Summer February 16, 2010 at 9:51 am

My husband sent me the most beautiful roses and chocolate. He was traveling last week and we don't know anyone to babysit so we didn't get to go out on Valentines day.

28 Lori C. February 16, 2010 at 9:51 am
29 Linda February 16, 2010 at 9:52 am

we actually didn't celebrate this year (new baby in the house!), but he did go out and buy flowers for me, which was very sweet!

30 michelle February 16, 2010 at 9:59 am

My man did not do anything. We are really hurting on money right now and it's been getting to him bad. He actually decided to start a fight so I would be so mad at him that I didn't want to do anything with him. Not exactly a shinning moment. He must have felt bad about it though cuz mon morn when I got up for work he had already ironed my shirt, gone to the gas station for coffee and smokes, and scrped all the snow off the car. When I got home he had already started dinner. Hoping to cheer him up a bit, new pants would be nice for interviews :)

31 Denise B. February 16, 2010 at 9:59 am

Everyday of my life with my husband and family is special. So, Valentine's Day is no big deal to me. We all went out to dinner and an Islanders game that day and had a fantastic time as we usually do.

He went to great lengths to find my favorite chocolates in a heart-shaped box.

33 Annette E February 16, 2010 at 10:02 am

We exchanged love letters on the 14th!!!

43 Mandy February 16, 2010 at 11:17 am

My husband worked a double shift at his second job so that we can get in a better place financially. In my opinion, that is chivalrous enough. But before he went to work, he made me a card with a little "Roses are red" versus and outlined a heart-shaped box of candies with Hershey Kisses (my fave!). So he gets double chivalry points in my book!! (And he would LOVE some new Dockers!)

44 Kimberly February 16, 2010 at 11:17 am

I am pregnant and sick! My husband cooked breakfast and dinner (which is one of the ahrdest thigns for me to do right now), and helped our 20-month-old daughter make heart-shaped cookies. He made it a special day for both of his girls. :o)
