You may have seen the Dockers Men Without Pants commercial during the Super Bowl. It was all about men stepping up and wearing the pants – even though they weren’t!
Today, I’m giving away 5 pairs of Dockers Soft Khakis in either a classic khaki color or a cool red.
This is how it works: prove that men ARE wearing the pants and that #chivalryisnotdead – especially on Valentine’s Day. Leave a comment (and if possible, link to a pic) about what your guy did for you on Valentine’s Day and I will select 5 winners at random to receive a free pair of khakis!
You have to post by noon tomorrow (2/15), so don’t delay!
Every reader has four methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, or three for up to a total of 3 entries!!!
If you are reading this in your email or feed reader, please CLICK HERE to visit the original blog post to enter. Email entries will not be counted.
Methods of entry:
1. Leave a comment. What did your guy do to show that#chivalryisnotdead?
2. Share a picture. Leave a link to a picture of your man’s chivalrous Valentine’s Day act in a separate comment!
3. Tweet it. Share your V-Day surprise on Twitter, including the hashtag #chivalryisnotdead. Be sure to come back and leave a separate comment with the link to the tweet!
Prize:
(5) pairs of Dockers Soft Khakis
This giveaway ends at noon EST on Tuesday, 2/16 and is open to all U.S. residents 18 years or older. I’ll use Random.org to select the winning comment. He watched the kiddies while I ran errands, kid free! :) That doesn’t happen often so it was nice.

We wound up babysitting my two nephews overnight so my sister and her husband could go out for Valentine’s Day (they’ll repay the favor next week). My husband got up with all four kids (our two and our nephews) when they woke up at the crack of dawn, made them breakfast, and kept them quiet so I could sleep in. It was the best Valentine’s Day morning!

My husband took me out to lunch at our favorite Mexican food restaurant! We’ll be celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary later this month!

My love language is “acts of service” and for almost twenty-four years my husband has consistently and progressively modeled his love for me in large and small daily acts of grace.

He made dinner… steaks on the grill. Yum.

My husband gave me a certificate to the spa in town. They were open Valentine’s Day so I went in for a Chocolate exfoliation followed by a chocolate oil massage. OMG it was great, then when I got home he had cleaned the house and organized our sons toys. He works hard for us so that I can stay home with our son.

Here’s my entry:
I’m a little confused, I literally just got this email and it is 4:17PM(C) on Monday 2/15/10. Contest deadline 12noon 2/15. Oh wait, I just reread and saw the clarification of “This giveaway ends at noon EST on Tuesday, 2/16 and is open to all U.S.” Yeah, so it does count!!
Well I did see the commercial, not one of my faves.
I absolutely do believe that “Chivalry is not dead” but I don’t have a
man to do something for me on Valentines. My only Valentine Wish came from a Haband Customer Service Supervisor on Friday when I had to call to complain. She took care of the issue, is sending me a free gift and wished me a “Happy Valentines”weekend. I thought it was very sweet of her to even think to do so. If only she knew, that it would be the only one for me. :)
Thanks Kristin for this opportunity and for all the hard work that you put into your site!!

I’m a happy Valentine! We went out and bought a great new mattress and box springs. (Okay, so it’s not “just” for me, but I’m really going to enjoy it.)

My husband got me a DVD that I had been wanting. It’s the new NKOTB Coming Home DVD which must be annoying for him since he then has through sit through it a million times while hearing me sing along to every song. Yet, he does it because he loves me.

I had breakfast in bed and lazy day, that was nice

My husband took me to lunch on Saturday and included my favorite strawberry cake, gave me a lovely Valentine and accompanied me to a meeting on Valentine’s afternoon to carry all my stuff. I love Denny!

He sent me flowers, chocolates, bath goodies and a teddy bear. It was a total surprise – I expected a gift, but he rarely sends flowers! He also picked up some goodies for our daughter, which always melts my heart!
