Dollar General: 90% Off Summer Clearance

by Tara Kuczykowski on September 29, 2009 · 11 comments

Dollar General Clearance
Thanks to Tiffany and Amy for writing in to share that Dollar General has all of their summer items clearance priced at 90% off right now.

Amy purchased 54 items for just $14, including Disney jump ropes for $0.01, and Tiffany left with 3 bags full for $10!!!

It seems like it would be worth checking out if you have one in your area.

I've also seen reports that CVS and Rite Aid have marked their clearance down to 90% off, so you may want to swing by there as well!

I went to my dollar gemeral and got a swim suit with the float foam sewn into it that was $15 for 1.35 and several other items for summer for .10 to .30 the most expensive thing I bought was the suit! It was a good find!
Also at Academy Sports I found lots of summer items such as a sand play kit that was $15 for 2.99 and balls and floats for 1.00 and less!
I have really racked up for next summer.

Our Dollar General has the 90% clearance too! We found lots of items for .10. They also have a clearance section for food and we were able to get *Clabber Girl Baking Powder for $.50 (after a $.50 coupon) and the Huggies wipes are $1.25 there, so they paid us $.75 to take each one (after the $2 coupon that we had!) It was a fun trip.

Thanks for the tip!! I stopped by while my daughter was at dance yesterday, and spent $15 on cool summer stuff, including swim vests, a pool, air pump, and awesome water guns for next year!! I felt like I was robbing the place, with $150 worth of stuff for $15!
