Hi Laura I will try and answer your question. When I walk into my CVS the coupon machine is on the left side of the main isle, a few isles back. (Just like the ad stand.) You can scan your CVS card and receive coupons that you can use that day or your next visit (they don't expire immediately). Sometimes you will receive your "special" reward money also. Getting the coupon before you go to the register allows you to know what you can shop for before you get your regular rewards with your receipt. Hope that helped.

I have only been super/extreme couponing for a month. My friends are vets and have educated me on making sure to scan my CVS card at the coupon center every time I visit the store. Today, I did get a coupon for a FREE green bag tag. A cashier explained it to me and the benefits. Really cool! Gotta love CVS!
