Rite Aid SCR (Single Check Rebate) are literally rebate checks you can either spend at the store... or simply deposit into the bank. You take your receipt and go to the rite aid website. There you sign up and enter your receipt information (Trans #, Store #, register #). Like any rebate check its expires 90 days after post mark. You need to enter your receipts by a certain date and request your check only after you enter in all your receipts. So you don't mail your receipts in you enter them into the computer and can use your receipt for another MIR. Each Rite Aid is different but they came out a few months ago with a pretty good Coupon Policy you will want to print and keep with you. I've had really nasty managers and really great ones at Rite Aid. I got one fired because she decided to implement her own policy and told corporate she didn't feel theirs was any good. But all and all they have good deals and I like theres because like this week Dove Mens Body Wash is $4 with a $4 SCR, well use a $1.25 off coupon and still get the full $4 on the check at the end of month. Literally making it a money maker like in cash... I like CVS and don't care for Walgreens anymore because here in Michigan the deals are so different. Anyhow hope this answer most your questions.

KD- I had the same problem, talked to the manager at my normal CVS today (amid the snow) and he told me its a problem they are having. He also told me several of the managers around us wont fix it. He had my buy another Kiss Of Flavor which was counting towards the EBCS, then he returned it. He also posted a sign stating that it was happening so people knew.

I was at CVS yesterday and did the Nivea deal and bought (2) Hydrating lip care (light blue tube) and (2) Essentail lip care (dark blue tube) and used 2 of the BOGO coupons and my ECB did not print it said at the bottom of the receipt that the amount toward the reward was $2.99 and I had $7.01 more to spend to earn the ECB. My total before coupons would have been $11.96 and the fact that I bought 2 & 2 why would it only count 1 toward the reward. The manager went ahead and gave me the $5 ECB but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up to make sure they check their receipt becuase I think their is a problem with this deal in their system. I'm lucky to have a really nice manager at my store the cashiers are another story but the manager is always happy to see me save $$ there.

For the Nivea Lip Balm, I always thought if you use a BOGO coupon you can't use another coupon on the free product. Does anyone know or have experience with this?

Tara, I have not tried couponing at rite aid yet, I wanted to start, though I have questions about how the single check rebates work..
- are they mail in rebates
- are they store coupons like extra bucks
- do they expire
- I HATE shopping at walgreens and wont anymore, I only do CVS because they seem to be the best, but rite aid seems to have great deals, can you give me th heads up about them?

While I was at CVS I noticed they also had a $1/1 Excedrin coupon box for those that don't have enough coupons. Hopefully all stores have them. :)

The excedrin at my store started at $4.49 (there is a min. count number for the coupons). This is how my deal went...
3 Excedrins ($4.79, $5.29, $5.49): $15.57
Used:
CVS $3 off $15 purchase (I have been getting these every time I shop),
3 $2 off coupons (the printable ones at coupons.com)
Each box had a $1 coupon on them. I didn't think I could use those as well as my manufacture coupons, but the cashier insisted you can. I didn't argue.
Last time I was at CVS, I got a $2 off Excedrin coupon printed on my receipt so I used that as well.
Paid $1.57 OOP and received the $7 ECB. And yes, another $3 off $15 printed :)

I went to CVS yesterday and it was a fiasco, I ended up at a store that I don't normally go to. First off the girl told me I couldn't use 4 Gillette coupons, then my EBCS for the Nivea didnt print out. She told me it was because I used coupons. I explained that wasn't the case. It turns I bought three of the kiss of flavor and one of the kiss of shine. The computer didn't count the kiss of shine in the stuff. The manager told me it must not be part of the sale and wouldn't help me at all. I was very perturbed. I told him I wanted to return the lip care and he wouldn't let me. Very annoyed today. Oh well having a great week at Rite Aid though with the P&G.

In my coupon insert the $1 off Nivea coupon is for sizes starting at 2.0 oz, so it would not be good for the lip care products. Please let me know if there is another $1 off q that would work for the lip care deal scenario. Thanks.

The ad states "prices starting at $2.49," so I believe they should count toward the ECBs.

Will someone please confirm that their $2.49 Excedrin was part of the ECB deal? Our only $2.49 Excedrin (To-Go container) was NOT marked as part of the sale. All Excedrin that was marked part of the ECB sale started at $3.49 (which wouldn't make it a moneymaker). TIA!
