Tara,
Wouldn’t the Boost deal be $0.65 each only if you use both the $2/1 Boost printables AND the $1/1 Boost coupon from the CVS Flu $100 Savings Booklet? Otherwise, it would be $1.65 each with just the printable coupons.
Here is my scenario:
(3) Boost 6-packs or 8-oz bottles, $6.99 ea.
(1) Revlon Nail product, $3.99
(1) Colgate Toothpaste or ActiFlex Toothbrush, $2.99
Total before coupons = $27.95
Use $5/$25 CVS coupon
Use (3) $2/1 Boost printables
Use (3) $1/1 Boost coupons (CVS Flu Booklet)
Use $1/1 Revlon Color Cosmetic Product
Use $1/1 Colgate Toothpaste or Toothbrush coupon
Pay $11.95 OOP
Get $15 ECBs!
$3.05 moneymaker!
Tara Kuczykowski
That’s correct, Laura. The CVS coupon is a store coupon and can be stacked with the manufacturer’s coupon in this instance.
Rebecca
Just a heads up on the fruitopia shampoo deal. I used the Reinventing Beauty $2 coupon last week, and it says 1 per customer, so I was only able to use 1 per transaction. So on the BOGO deal you would want to use 2 to get both free…I’m not sure if it will fly or not. The 2nd coupon won’t scan, so I guess it is up to the cashier at that point.
Brittany
In florida it is Zephyrhills instead of poland water. Plus, there is a buy 2 get one free. So, $3 for 10 after ECB and copouns.
Brittany
Also, southern savers has a link to an online magazine that has a $3 off $15 coupon that is printable. It was a good day at CVS.
The Coupon "High"
There is a $3/$15 printable CVS coupon that you can use to make these deals even better. You can get it here: https://thecouponhigh.blogspot.com/2009/10/printable-315-cvs-coupon-available.html
Tara Kuczykowski
Just as an FYI, any CVS store coupon that is in PDF format like this has not been legitimately posted.
Samantha
The $3 Schick coupon expired 9/27. =)
On the Fruitopia and Viologie shampoo, they are advertised together as BOGO in the ad, so hopefully you can get one of each BOGO and use the coupons!
Angela
I just realized for the Olay/Pantene rebate you have to purchase the 12.6 oz size Pantene shampoo or conditioner. The Restoratives Conditioner I bought today at CVS is 8.5 oz. I am not sure if the Expressions comes in a bigger size. Now I will have to find another Pantene deal.
Tara Kuczykowski
Hmm, the ad says “Expressions, Restoratives shampoo, conditioner 8.5-13.5 oz” so there must be something that fills the size requirement. I’ll add a note to the deal. Thanks!
aimee
where can i get the reinventing beauty magazine?
Michelle
On the coupon booklet coupons, it actually says that they are man, coupoons that can only be redeemed at CVS so you can’t stack them.
Also, the Revlon color cosmetic coupon wouldn’t go through for me. I wonder if it only covered makeup.
And I couldn’t use 2 Fruitopia coupons. CVS computers don’t mark BOGO items at half off. One is reg. price while the other is literally free. It’s still a good deal at .75 a piece, though.
And you don’t have to buy the magazine to get the coupons. There’s a coupon insert that sits next to the magazine that is free.
Carrie
I couldn’t find the Revlon $1 coupon in the SS 9/13. I received 2 SS’s that week and wondered if it was different in various regions. I live in VA. Any ideas? Thanks.
Tara Kuczykowski
Revlon coupons often seem to be regional, so you may not have received it, Carrie. :(
Angela
I went back to CVS to check if the Pantene Expressions were 12.6 oz or larger and they were. I was able to exchange my Restoratives for Expressions.
Also, if you get the Fruitopia and Violage together and use one of each of the $2 off coupons you will get them both free. They will ring up as BOGO!
Jennifer Laxson
Tara…The Blade men’s stuff is bogo so can’t you use 2 coupons out of the Reinvinting Beauty mag and get those free or close to it? I just don’t want to be embarrsed trying it out.
rydergal
Jennifer Laxson-the q in the RIB mag is $2 off 2 Blade products, so you can only use one for each BOGO deal. Keep in mind too that CVS will only accept one of each CVS q per transaction, so if you want to do the deal more than once, you’ll need to do it in separate transactions (your cashier may push through more than one of the same CVS q in the same transaction if he or she is friendly, but it’s YMMV)
Jennifer Laxson
Thank you…I see that now…That might still be a decent deal though…I’m going today to check prices and pick-up some stuff…Thanks again rydergal
Jennifer Laxson
Ok…I just got back from CVS and the check out person and manager would NOT let me use the $1 Revlon coupon for the nail polish!!!! They said it was for a face product!!! Did anyone else have this problem?????
rydergal
Jennifer Laxson-another YMMV situation on the Revlon q. The q beeps only because the nail polish has a short barcode (that’s all that will fit on the little bottles) that doesn’t match up to the family code that is coded into the q. However, nail polish IS a cosmetic item, but your cashier may or may not push it through for you. Mine did, but a lot of folks are reporting that theirs would not. Last month’s Revlon q (same exact wording and coding…only the pic was different) had a picture of the nail polish on it, so folks were more successful with cashiers pushing it through then…unfortunately, this month’s did not, and cashiers are notorious for not thinking outside of what’s pictured. Nail polish is for nothing more than cosmetic appearances…I don’t see why it shouldn’t be included in something referring to “any cosmetic item”, but some will refuse it nonetheless. Polite rebuttal of her statement that the coupon is only good on face stuff would be in order, maybe something to the effect of …”but the coupon doesn’t say ‘face’ products, it says cosmetics, and nail polish is for cosmetic purposes…why else do women paint their nails, other than to look good?” After that, I would maybe try a different CVS, or even just a different cashier later. I’ve been to many CVS’s near where I live and where I work (I work 65 miles from home, so I have more than a couple to choose from!), and have found my favoritest store ever by checking out as many as I can. It’s always well stocked, and very coupon friendly…and I’ll always go there first, now that I’ve had some experience with what’s available to me. CVS can be riddled with bad experiences, but there’s bound to be a good one around, if you’re willing to endure a little trial and error in searching!
Jennifer Laxson
Well, I went to pick-up my kiddos at school and went to a CVS over there and she didn’t even question the coupon. So I got 2 bottles in 2 differ transaction. Then I got my Blade products in 2 differ transaction with the eb I earned on the polish! 2 Blade products were $2.34…I thought that was a good deal anyways! Thank you for all your help!
toye
I’m not sure if anyone mentioned this already but CVS has Viactiv Calcium Chews 60 pieces for $6 this week. If you use
the $1 printable coupon and
the Walgreens $4 off from the Coupon booklet,
you can get Viactiv for $1 and if you’re lucky you could get the package with 15 extra pieces. That’s 75 Viactiv for $1. I was able to do this once with each of my CVS cards.
Jennifer Laxson
toye…CVS price matches? I didn’t know this.
rydergal
Jennifer-some CVS stores will accept competitor q’s (usually only Wags or Rite-Aid, and usually if they are practically across the street from each other). Some will only accept competitor q’s in the pharmacy (gift cards for transferring a script, for example). It’s definitely a YMMV situation…you’ll have to ask your store specifically. I’ve heard that many of the ones that do will have a sign up somewhere advertising the fact that they accept competitor q’s, but some don’t advertise it at all…you just have to ask. The worst they can do is say no :)

Some things I found this week :
Nestle Tasters Choice Single packets $1 count for the Nestle deal. If you have access to 2 computers to print (4).75Q and (4) B1G1Q then it’s a moneymaker! Buy 10 for $3 after Q’s get back $5ECB.
The other was the Gold Emblem Pretzels 5oz. bags are .79 on sale this week so after the $1/2 CRT you pay .58 for both! Gonna use these to make chex mix and more holiday treats :)
For the Dove Deal try this scenerio :
3 – Dove Moisturizing Wash or Exfoliating wash $7each
1 – Revlon Polish $3.99
Use 5/25Q (I know subtotal is 24.99 but it took it without beep I guess bc with tax it was 27.05???)
Use (3) $2Q for Dove Exfoliating/Moisturizing Wash
Use the $1q for Revlon if available
Total = 12.99OOP get back $10ECB for Dove & $3ECB for Revlon
