I loved this stepstool. My husband hated it, but then again, he hates anything that assists our 2 yr old boy in climbing to new heights.

Thanks for posting this! Bummer about the recall – my daughter loves this stepstool.

We had one of these, although it wasn’t purchased at Target, but it was constantly coming apart. It was such a piece of junk! I have no idea where it’s at currently, must have gotten thrown away in one of our moves.

so glad these were recalled the problem is they use particle board in these and if you use them in the bathroom with kids they start to get wet and break apart. why is it so hard to use quality anymore.

Stink! We love this step stool and haven’t had any issues with it. I wonder if the newer ones at the store do not have any problems and I can exchange it?
