Approximately 72,000 pounds of Bumble Bee canned chicken salad products have been recalled because they may contain foreign objects. The chicken salad products were assembled between August 14 and August 28, 2010, and shipped to distributors and retail stores nationwide.
Consumers with questions about the recall should contact Tim Suter at 815-895-9186. Consumers with food safety questions can “Ask Karen,” the FSIS virtual representative available 24 hours a day.
Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

I think that was unnecessary as well. It was a misread not a crime. Nobody likes a bully. And yes thank you for the post, I often eat those for lunch. I am a little concerned that I have eaten a “foreign object”. It sounds so ominous.
