The transaction worked perfectly. Thanks for the information!

Perfect deal! I was just complaining to my husband that I wanted more flowers in our yard but its not really in our budget!
Thanks!

Thanks for passing this along, no matter how many flowers I have I always find room for more ;-) I had a small local place down the street that would have great sales at the end of the season, but they closed at the end of 2008. I started quite a few different seeds last year and was surprised at how well that turned out. These bulbs are going to work in with the rest of what I was planing so well, thanks again!

Is a great deal but as a gardener I have to tell ya, that’s a great deal of work for someone.
One other thing to keep in mind-I doubt each bulb will be individually marked for variety. It’ll be tough knowing which should be planted in the background and which ones will be smaller, needing to be placed in the front of your landscaping. Just a thought…
Dani
This is a great deal, thanks for sharing! I can’t wait to plant these in our backyard !

I’ve ordered from Bulbs Direct in the past and the bulbs were separated. I can’t speak to this particular offer because I haven’t received it yet though, so I’d encourage you to call if you’re concerned.

Don’t forget, most bulbs are planted in the Fall, not in the Spring. Make sure you store these in a cold, dark place (and away from squirrels…) and bring them out again in the Fall to plant to flower in the Spring.

I just ordered these and I am a newbie in gardening. I see Becky’s post above where she states that bulbs are planted in the fall – but on bulbsdirect website it says: THIS COLLECTION CAN BE PLANTED ANYTIME BETWEEN FEBRUARY UNTIL THE END OF MAY FOR HARDY ZONES 4-11.
I am in Colorado (zone 5-6) – Am I safe planting April/May or should I wait until fall???? Thanks!

Details given to me by the company:
60 x anemone de caen.
60 x Brodiaea queen fabiola.
10 x gladioli large flowering mix.
60 x ixia mix.
10 x Liatris purple.
Every packet of bulbs/bare root plant has a printed instruction on the
back. They will state how deep to plant them (arrow pointing down), how
far apart ( horizontal arrow), what month they flower ( e.g.: v = may)
and how high the will grow ( arrow pointing up). These instructions will
allow you to plant the taller ones at the back of your bed and smaller
ones to the front. You can always arrange them to the flowering period.
The choice is yours.

Just got my bulbs, thanks a ton! They all came in one box, however I did not open it yet.
Karin
Hi! I ordered these and am planning on planting them this week. I’m just wondering if anyone else has planted them yet and has any info/tips or has seen them growing and doing well or not. Thanks!
