The order was for a special occasion lunch for a group of ten. Upon arrival, I was informed the order had not been input. I waited for more than 20 minutes as the staff scrambled to put together a lunch of salads, breads and desserts. Obviously, I was stressed by the delay and the uncertainty of the schedule. Unfortunately, my guests arrived before I returned with the food. When I apologized for the delay and explained the cause to the group, the general consensus was that the restaurant should have comped the lunch or given a sustantial discount. Neither was offered which makes me wonder how often this happens. The food was good but I'm hesitant to try this again! Comments?
