Hi –
I’m just curious – doesn’t advertising SwagBucks fall under the same need for disclaimer as other promotions by Bloggers, since the links you provide will in fact result in compensation for yourself?
I’m not intending this to be snarky in any way – I love your blog – I just think it’s ‘cleaner’ and more honest if this is noted.
Over at the ‘MSM’ blog (abbreviated to be less obvious), she always goes on and on about how they’ve never bought diapers, they always buy them from their SwagBucks searches…which is of course more than a little false, because without a *huge* pyramid scheme of readers following the links she’d never have enough points to buy that much solo.
Incidentally, I do think you deserve to reap the benefits – you offer a fabulous, free service – but just thought this fell under the shady side of the new law.
Blessings from Florida!

You are correct, SNT — that’s why I have a disclosure policy linked on every page of my site. You can read it here: https://dealseekingmom.com/disclosure-policy/

I have tried for months to create an account with swagbucks, and every time I get this same message
“We are sorry we cannot offer this feature to you at the current time. If you feel you have reached this screen in error please email [email protected].”
Anyone know how I can bypass this?
Tara Kuczykowski
Have you tried emailing them? It doesn’t sound like you’re going to be able to bypass it without their assistance.
