I do laundry at night or before I'm going to watch a movie. Basically those rare moments when I'm not being rushed to go somewhere. No one wants to do laundry in a hurry!

I use Spot Shot Carpet Cleaner as a stain remover. It's absolutely wonderful and will get out virtually anything!

Vinegar soaks are great for removing funky smells!

For ink spots on clothing use hairspray and blot with a white paper towel. Keep spraying and blotting until the ink mark disappears.
Another great tip is to use peroxide in your water it is a lot safer than bleach and is actually one of the ingredients in non-chlorine whiteners.

Thanks for the giveaway... My tip is to pre-soak most loads at least an hour, or even better, overnight (depending on the fabric, color, etc., and any special care instructions on the item being washed, naturally); this will allow you to use shorter wash cycles and get everything just as clean.

this would be a great package for my kids to go by when they want to help mom with laundry or want to do it on ther own they will know what to do i have five boys and two girls and i try to teach the boys that laundry is not just a female thing.
