Laundry tip for saving $ would be to wash on cold when possible to save on energy heating water.
I use color saving detergents or fabric softners to keep my colors from fading. I am really impressed at how much brighter my clothes stay.
My first four children, ages 4-10, all help and sort the clothes they are done.
The ages 4 and 6 help fold towels while the older may fold sheets, and they take care of their own clothes.
wash in cold water and line dry.

Clothes go directly into the washing machine according to color. I use cold water for both white and colors.
I use cold water to wash almost everything and I only run full loads unless absolutely necessary. Also, unless you actually get your clothes dirty, I have no problem with wearing the same thing for a couple of days, especially jeans.

I do all the laundry in one day.Full loads.
always use the energy saver setting and set a timer to remember to check on your clothes so they don't sit and wrinkle in the dryer
I use the all in one sheets that works in the washer and dryer. It's easier and saves money.
My best laundry tip is to put some tennis balls in your dryer when drying comforters to keep them from bunching up.

The only thing I wash on hot are my cloth diapers. Plus, I make sure to get things out of the dryer before it goes off so that I never have to iron!

I use cold water a lot to wash and I also cut mydryer sheets in half.
I am constantly going through laundry, so we save money by using a gas dryer and I recently started using the all in one sheets for the washer and the dryer to make things quicker for me.

I have a laundry ball and when using this ball you only use one-tenth of detergent that you would normally use and it really WORKS! Clothes come out clean.
I always use cold water.

To save time, I will put in a load to wash before I run out the door for work. I dry the laundry while cooking dinner or doing other chores. I can get quite a bit done while I wait for the laundry to get finished.
I wash everything in cold water. I found a fantastic stain remover at Hobby Lobby in the fabric department. It is a litte bottle called Grandma's stain remover. It is wonderul!
with 3 kids I always can use Laundry soap. I also wash everything in cold water, great for energy savings =)
I am really impressed at how much brighter my clothes stay with color saving detergents!!
anything to help with the laundry would help - especially folding and keeping it nice and tidy!
we save money by pre-treating stains, this way we arn't washing the same thing several times, or ruining clothing completely.
I use my machine with full capacity, not even a gap.
If clothes are major smelly, add a cup of Baking Soda to the load.
I subscribe via email. Oh by the way my tip above saves time because you won't have to rewash smelly clothes twice to get the odor out. Good for dog bed covers etc...
My fav laundry tip is gettign the kids involved. They take pride in it so they are more prone to making sure their own crazy stains are taken care of right away which has also saved me on clothes...We all know how a 7 year old and 9 year old can go through clothes...It's really helped!
I also registered on the blog! :o)
laundry tip would be use a sponge dipped in fabric softener instead of using a dryer sheet
I make everyone responsible for putting away their own clothes. For some reason that is the worst part of doing the laundry. A folding table would be awesome. They could just pick up their pile and be off to put them away.

I have been looking for the flipfolds ever since I saw it on Big Bang theory. It looked super cool!
I wash almost everything in cold. I do not dry clothes completely. I take them out while they are still a little damp and let them dry by air the rest of the way.
I dedicate ONE DAY to do laundry, so I don't feel like I'm doing it the whole week. I enlist my hubby in the folding and putting away.
My best tip is to find detergent on sale and w/ coupons and stock up! My other tip is to do a load every day or 2 every other day so it doesn't PILE up!

My time saving tip is that I do all of the laundry on the same day (usually Monday) and it is over and done with for the week. My money saving tip is to wash most everything in cold water and really watch the water level setting for each load.
