I find that when it comes to clothing, you get what u pay for. Its worth the extra money to buy name brands in my opinion.
You get what you pay for but with me just lost my job so anything is better then nothing!
I shop the clearance sales!
I put leggings under dresses

A few moms and I trade clothes at my daughter's school. Also washing the my kids clothes in cold water seems to extend the life of clothes.
these are my two favorite stores, I can walk to my marshalls - small concern to the budget!
Love these stores! It's like a treasure hunt every time I go!

I make a lot of my childrens' clothes and we go to Goodwill before we ever go shopping in clothing stores. We also get things if they are a good deal on clearrance.
I am also subscribed by email.
I always keep on eye out for markdowns and clearance items.
I also shop clearance. When I do buy the clothes, I buy neutral colors (either a shirt or shorts) and pair with a colorful (shirt or shorts). This way, I get two outfits in one!
I only spend money on jeans. Tops get trashed so easily so I don't spend a ton on them.
I ove TJ Maxx because they have great deals on clearance clothes.
I buy shoes a half size bigger so they last longer through the school year!

I always hit the clearance racks first and snag the best deals in the next sizes we need. So I am never paying full price for clothes.

always try to buy "classics"-they last longer!
both of these stores are a bargain hunter's dream! lots of brand names, plus the clearance racks are awesome!
I always bought my sons jeans with double knees or ironed denim patches on the insides of the knee area if they didn't come with it.

I shop on clearance and stock up for next year. Buy super cheap basics and combine them with nice sweaters or shoes.
I shop the clearance racks! These stores have great discounts.
I let them continue to wear any summer clothing that hasn't been stained or torn until the weather mandates a change. We only by basics at the beginning of the school year (undies, socks, maybe a pair of shorts if they're low). Typically, their summer items last until the beginning of October with maybe just a hoodie or two thrown into the mix for the cooler mornings.
Same goes for Fall/Winter. We supplement what they already have instead of buying into the "replace everything just because" ideal.

I don't use fabric softener and dry clothes using the delicate cycle only ...this extends the life of fabrics.

My best scret is to shop out of season for my child's clothes and shop off the clearance rack.
Also to read this blog, I've saved soooooo much money since finding it, honestly!
I shop between Monday and Wednesday, start with clearance then work my way to the higher prices if its worth buying.

The best way we stretch our wardrobe is hand me downs and yard sales.

We'd love some free clothes!
I shop armed with coupons and only buy what's on sale. I also head to consignment shops to buy gently "used" clothing (sometimes I cannot tell that it HAS been used!)
