I like the Teton model- my kindergartener would love these as all my boys live in their crocs.
of course how comfortable the shoes are and you can't have ugly looking shoes so style has to be in there too!!
Gotta love a shoe that a kid can get off and on by him/herself! A good fit and no "hot spots" where they rub. My DD loves her crocks... and I know she'd love a pr of the maryjanes/MacKenzie in bubblegum/rose (or anything else, even!)
I would choose the Dawson one because I always want kid's shoes that are durable and can last through the school year but my daughter would only were the Sophia because they are pink and perfect : )

The most important thing when I look for my children's shoes is a great fit! Second, I want to make sure they will hold up really well, especially if they have to become hand-me-downs!

my daughter just turned 3 on sunday, she is in a size 9 shoe! and she is a shoe freak (thanks to aunt tracy) she has more shoes then i do, although she grows out of them very fast. her feet are on their way to a size 9 1/2 so this will be great for the fall, we are starting her in a head start program...(we call it school) so this would be nice to win...i like the sophia and the Mackenzie...

Its easy to put them on by themself, safe to walk and run and comfortable and cute. Thats the important thing when I buying shoes for my kids. Just like Sophia Style. That's so cute!!

I sometimes buy my grandkids shoes. I try to ask their opinion because if they don't like the shoe, they are not going to want to wear it. And if they are not with me to try on the shoe (or we ordered the shoes), I make sure when I give them to them, they fit properly. Nothing like getting ready to go and they are excited to wear their new shoes...and then they don't fit. Sadness all around!

I love the Tetun style! When I shop for shoes, I always buy them 1/2 size bigger so they'll last longer.
The Mary Jane type shoes are WONDERFUL for girls. The wash so easily!
I'm already an avid fan of your deal seeking adventures! I am currently pregnant with my first child, so I can't say exactly what I look for in buying kids' shoes, but what I can tell you is about buying shoes for myself and my swelling feet. I am looking for comfortable, flat shoes like the Sophia ballet flats! They are so cute. When everything else is ballooning around me, shoes are the best accessory to make me feel better. And since I'm a teacher I am standing on my feet all day long. I need a little relief in the foot department and a new pair of Sophia Crocs sounds like just the thing!
