Is there a start time of which you are aware? I haven't seen anything, so not sure if it will work at 12:01am or not.

Wow, waste of time. I was on right at 10, clicked the link, filled out the form and the server went down. They shouldn't do these things if they are not prepared for the influx of site hits.

I work full time and only have a brief moment to do these things.

Yeah, the site's messed up for me too :( That stinks.

wouldn't work for me either, never even reached the form. what a waste of time. :(

I've been trying for over a half hour now and the few times the form has loaded, it doesn't successfully submit. When do all of these groups offer deals and not prepare their servers. It really bugs the fans and makes us annoyed at the product.

This was terribly thought out!!! I've been trying for 39 minutes, still can't get it to work and now I see a post that says I won't be able to print if I did the print back in November!!!

I spent over 30 minutes trying to get through. I finally got to the coupon page and it told me I had already printed the coupon. I guess it's because I registered on their website a few months ago and got the coupon then. :(

I finally got through after 40 minutes and it said I'd already received a coupon. I've never tried to print any egg coupon before anywhere so I dont know where they got that. Just another internet freebie that didnt pan out :(

Did anyone get their email yet?? How long did it take to get it after you signed up?? And I hope the thing isn't true that if you took the pledge and printed that coupon, you won't be able to print this one. Anyone confirm that theory yet??

I tried and it will not even let me go to the link to get the coupon :(

It told me I've already received a coupon too...but I've never printed an egg coupon before now.

I had a similar issue. Said I had already printed the coupon. I don't recall, but who knows?

I tried and my hubby tried and we both got the msg that we had already printed one. I know for sure he never has done this so their site is wrong!

They have this message on the facebook page

Incredible Edible Egg We’re looking into the reason why the program is saying people have received their coupon and haven’t yet. Regardless of if you’ve received the coupon in the fall, you should still be able to get this coupon.

So it sounds like we should be able to get them even if we printed the coupon at the end of the year last year.

I commented earlier about getting a message saying I had already printed the coupon. Well, I just tried using my other email address and it went right through.

I received the already printed message also. so I used a differnet email address not associated with my face book and received the coupon in like 5 minutes. going to try with hubbys facebook and see if it will go thru.

If you have a different email address use that one when you fill in the form. I used our business email and got the email and then printed 1 coupon.

For anyone who did get the coupon, what printer does it use? Bricks or Smart Source or something else?

Reply

26 CJ February 5, 2010 at 1:19 pm

I've now tried both of my email addresses and it still says I already received the coupon.

I got the already requested response - but I did get the email, it ended up in my junk email box. The coupon prints from Bricks...good luck!!

I just tried it and it worked perfectly for me. I was able to print it out twice. Yay! Free eggs!

After two hours of trying, holding a fussy baby, and putting in different email address, I was finally able to print (twice)

It finally worked for me! Yay! Printed twice.... gotta love free stuff :-)

IF you were trying this morning, like I was, and kept getting error messages, go ahead and try now. I just got through and within minutes had the link in my email to print the coupon. It is true that it can be printed twice, but I gave the second on to a co-worker.
I am frustrated by these companies that take on these social media stunts and then are not equipped to handle the turn out. Even so, once I got the coupon I felt bad keeping two.

Everyone keeps talking about a form to fill out, but when I went to the link and became a fan, there wasn' t a form or anything.
Does that mean I won't get a coupon?

Reply

37 KRISTINE February 6, 2010 at 3:06 am

Once you became a fan, there was a tab to go to to fill out info on their facebook site. If you didn't fill anything out, you won't receive anything.

If any of you are as frustrated with the manner in which the promo campaign was handled, or you didn't get your email for your coupon after you filed out your info and agreed to have IEG show on your facebook page...or if you got your coupon email, yet weren't able to print.
I have the place you need to complain!
I figured it out by making screen prints of each page while trying for hours to get this coupon; their name was at the bottom of a couple of pages.
I rec'd my coupon email only after speaking with someone at EnvisionItMedia.com (the people responsible for this mess). If you get on the website, toward the bottom, there is a place for you to put your phone number and they called me back immediately--and I would assume this only works during their business hours in Chicago. I called on Friday, they called back, I voiced my issues, and not long after I rec'd my coupon email. Then it took me another couple of hours before I could get it to print.
Personally, I think they were in over their heads and need to make good on all their promises--hopefully IEE and others will never hire this company again. My mother didn't ever get her mail either, probably because she used my computer--since I got 2 prints, I gave her one.

after all the mess they ended up fixing the mess and I got the coupon and it printed fine.
