New Crayola Crayons were one of my favorite back-to-school supplies as a kid. There was just something about a brand new pack of shiny, multi-colored crayons that inspired me to want to create colorful images of hearts and rainbows and all things sparkly and pretty that the imaginations of young girls conjure up. That waxy scent still takes me right back to the first day of 2nd grade, kind of like the smell of Playdoh reminds me of rainy day fun. . .
I'm so glad that Crayola products have stood the test of time and are now inspiring a new generation of imaginations. And I'm happy to share with you about how you can join in the fun!
Every Tuesday night through the month of August, Crayola is sponsoring "Girls Night Out" on Twitter - the mommy social gathering featuring colorful and engaging discussions on all things back-to-school. Crayola has teamed up with MomItForward.com, the creator of "Girls Night Out" (GNO), to bring you the "Crayola Creativitycast." The weekly series of GNO discussions will feature a new topic each week like "Affordable Fun 101" and "Back to School Survival Guide," and all GNO participants will have the chance to win great prizes!
For more details about tonight’s #GNO chat and how to participate, go here.
Don't worry if you've already got plans during these events – you also have the opportunity to win one of four Crayola Creativity Packs right here on Deal Seeking Mom!

I remember popping open my box of crayola crayons on the first day of school and coloring my little heart out.
I guess Im weird I loved unwrapping them and using the sides to color the whole page and than would take black and cover it and scratch off the black. Always though it was cool to find the "hiden Picture!"
I added your button to my blog! Still learning!

Today I'm a professional artist but when I was a wee little girl, I drew a picture (with Crayola crayons ~ I love them!) of an apple tree, my family, and a dolphin. I've been drawing ever since. Love Crayola! :)
Brand new crayons.
Fav crayola memory from my childhood: My brother and I had a giant Christmas coloring book. We each colored one page each Christmas Eve. My mom still has it!
Love, love, love Crayola. I love a new package of crayons even to this day. My daughter is very creative and artistic. She would love some new Crayola products to inspire her!

My favorite memory is making crafts with my brother..
My favorite memory is decorating my grandpa & grandma's bathroom with crayola crayons, this was before they were washable, with my 3 year-old cousin, I was 4 at the time - apparently we weren't being watched too closely because we made quite a mess of the bathroom walls but my grandma telling the story still makes me laugh to this day! Needless to say my son has followed in my footsteps - but at least they're washable now!
My favorite Memory: Helping my daughter collect all the broken pieces of crayola crayons put them on a baking pan that had heart shapes and melting them down into heart shaped crayons she could still use.
I loved opening a new big box of Crayolas and using the crayons for the first time.

I loved coloring anything I could get my hands on.
When I was a kid (a long time ago!), I was alway so excited to get a special something for Christmas. It was a 64 count box of Crayola Crayons! We didn't have a lot of toys like the kids do today, and this was something so special that I could call my very own. My brother also got one, so there were no arguments over sharing. Good times...good memories. My 2 little granddaughters have so many craft products, but love their Crayola crayons, markers and glitter glues the best!
Favorite memory is coloring a "window" on my bedroom wall as a little girl b/c I did not have a window. My mom was not too happy about the "new window". Yikes!
I remember we used to melt old broken crayons into shapes and use them to color :)
